Chapter 1 The 100th Blind Date

"Mr. Morris, Miss Watson's going on another blind date!"

In the president's office, Leo Taylor stood respectfully.

After a long interval, the man, who was busy with his business, responded simply, "Well."

Then, without looking up, he asked, "How many blind dates has she been on?"

"Ninety-nine times!"

The man who was sitting furrowed his brows.

There was then a subtle change in his composed expression.

He lifted his head and, despite the anger hidden in his deep-set eye sockets, curved his sexy thin lips into a wonderful curve.

He tapped his long fingers on the desk and then said, "Go arrange the hundredth blind date for her!"

"Mr. Morris?" Leo was a little surprised and confused.

But when President Morris aimed those narrowed eyes at him, he suddenly understood what he meant.

After two years of being dormant, Mr. Morris was eventually showing up.

...

Carole Watson was doing her makeup.

Her red lips were sensual, her eyes were charming with eyeliner.

Her strapless dress perfectly set off her slender waist, and her yellow, wavy wig was voluptuous.

Looking at the unfamiliar persona in the mirror, she pursed her red lips and then narcissistically struck several sexy poses.

She was a professional makeup artist who could easily create a variety of looks. In the past ninety-nine blind dates, she had designed ninety-nine different styles for herself.

This afternoon, she would be having her one hundredth blind date. She hoped her wish would come true.

Her date had chosen Mary's Club as the meeting place.

Carole showed up at the clubhouse on time.

It was an elegant, classy place with floor-to-ceiling windows and a quiet, beautiful courtyard right outside the windows.

Since her date had not shown up yet, Carole decided to take a stroll around the courtyard and spend her time taking in the view.

In the night, she was like a seductive, flamboyant siren, attracting the attention of many passersby.

"Mr. Morris, Miss Watson has arrived!"

In front of the window on the second floor, Leo reminded his boss in a low voice.

Oscar Morris eyed the downstairs courtyard with a deep frown.

There was a faint glint of fire in his dark eyes.

He had been watching that woman for a good while. Her sultry, provocative outfit was clearly a magnet!

"So, she is the woman two years ago?" There was a trace of coldness in Oscar's light voice.

The contour of his face was deep and three-dimensional. In the dark shadows before the window, he looked like an ice sculpture.

Even though it was summer, Leo, standing next to him, felt cold all over at the moment.

He rubbed his temples, nodded his head, and asked carefully, "Mr. Morris, do you want me to bring Miss Watson in for you? It's been two years. And this morning, your grandfather called to inquire..."

"No need!" Oscar said, then pursed his thin lips into a straight line.

Two years...

Oscar was willing to wait two more years for the promise he had made at a younger age. However, it seemed that his grandfather could not wait any longer.

Oscar rubbed his forehead, then said to Leo, "It's time. I'm going on the blind date!"

"Yes, sir!" Leo hurried to answer.

Five minutes later, Carole and Oscar were sitting opposite each other in a private room on the first floor.

Carole gave a glance at the man and was immediately shocked by his handsomeness.

The man in front of her was the best looking of any man she had ever seen in her life!

She could not resist licking her lips and touching her earlobe, then volunteered to say, "Mr. Morris, since our goal is to find a marriage partner through the blind date, let's be honest with each other, shall we?"

"Sure." Oscar replied simply and raised his brows with interests.

He then waited for the woman to be honest with him.

"Well, my first impression of you is pretty good. I think we could try dating for a while. What do you think?"

"Yes." Oscar's answer was still concise.

Hearing the man's answer, Carole got up and sat beside him, taking his hand intimately.

She curled up her red lips into a soft, seductive smile. "We're boyfriend and girlfriend now. You won't resist my intimate gestures, will you?"

Oscar's body suddenly tensed up as he smelled the woman's unique scent.

A hint of surprise flashed across his eyes.

He had always forbidden any woman to come near to him, but this one in front of him made him not want to resist.

He tilted his head to look at Carole and revealed a wicked smile. "No, I will not."

Then he cupped her chin flirtatiously and suggested, "Why don't we start with trial marriage. Let's get it started from tonight!"
