Chapter 6 Edward Pike, You Bastard!

"You are such a troublesome woman." Edward cursed in a low voice and looked toward the man running ahead.

Half a minute later, a man walked over with the thief who had grabbed the bag in one hand, and Jane's red bag in the other.

Jane looked at him and found it was the man who had helped Edward in the plane.

"Boss." Sean delivered the bag back to Edward.

Edward took the bag back, glancing at Jane unpleasantly, "Can't you be careful?"

Sean looked at them and was stunned to recognize Jane. He took a few steps back, "Boss, I'll leave you some space here and get this guy to the police station." He looked toward the brand of the place: Civil Affairs Bureau. Was his boss serious to get married this time?

Edward handed the bag to Jane, feeling a bit displeased, "How did you become a teacher? This is your sense of vigilance? Teach a lot of students who don't even know how to protect themselves to benefit the gangsters?"

"Huh, I encountered that only because I was wondering where you are!" Jane was also in rage. She took her bag back but stared at him angrily.

Although he had saved her, he had a bad mouth. She was robbed just now and almost fell to the ground. Couldn't he just comfort her like a gentleman?

Edward was expressionless, "Talking too much about this is not helpful. Let's get the certificate inside."

Jane was unhappy with his attitude, but she still bore her anger, put her bicycle in the right place, and went in to apply for the certificate.

After they got out, Jane wanted to leave by her electric bicycle. But Edward shouted behind her, "Hold on a second."

Jane was confused, asking, "Why?"

"Stay away from your electric bicycle." He pointed at her bicycle as he said that.

Jane couldn't figure out what he meant by saying so, but she still stood aside. Then she saw him getting in his red Ferrari.

She felt jealous of his wealth.

However, she didn't expect him to start his engine and smash her bicycle into pieces afterwards. No, he not only smashed the bicycle, but ran over it!

Jane couldn't believe her eyes, wide-opening her mouth but having nothing to say, "My, my bicycle..." It cost half of her monthly salary to buy that bicycle. 3,000 yuan! That was half of her monthly salary!

"Get in." Edward poked his head out of the car, "I'll run over every damn bicycle like this whenever I see it afterwards."

"You, you!" Jane was about to explode. She grabbed her bag and walked over angrily, stretching out her hand into his car window, unscrewing the door, and hitting his head with her bag fiercely, "Edward Pike, you bastard!"

"From this moment on, you are my wife. Won't I be shameless to have my wife go to work by an electric bicycle? Not to mention it is dangerous! You just got robbed! Now motorbikes and electric bicycles are forbidden. Got it?"

"I'm proud that I'm an environmentalist, and I have got a healthy body by taking a bicycle!" Jane shouted, "And most importantly, I'm poor, okay?"

Edward protected his head from being hit, but she really hit him with all her strength.

He got off the car, took her hands, and shouted, "Jane Sidney!"

Jane valued her bicycle very much. That's what she bought with her salary, her fruit of labor!

With tears in her eyes, she broke away from his hand, wiped her tears hurriedly, and cursed, "I hate you!" She then turned around, clutching her bag and walking towards the station.

Seeing her crying as she walked opposite him, Edward was helpless, but he felt that he had done nothing wrong. Although it was a nominal marriage, at least he had to maintain his image, right?

He walked towards Jane quickly.

Jane wiped her tears constantly and then walked toward the bus stop. But before she went far, her waist was tightened by someone. When she realized what had happened, she was already in the man's arms!

"You! You, Edward Pike! Let go of me! Let me go!" Jane slapped his arm and chest indiscriminately.

However, Edward didn't loosen her but hugged her to his car at a very fast speed. He opened the door, put her directly into the passenger seat, and then raised his hand to pinch her jaw again, "Stop struggling! Otherwise, I won't be nice to you!"

"Go away! I don't want to see you!" Jane yelled, but he had fastened her seat belt, then quickly got to the driver's seat and started the engine.

"I will send you to your school soon. You can cry as much as you want. It would be best if your students and school colleagues see you crying!" Edward said mercilessly with a sullen face.

Jane gritted her teeth to hear that. Seeing that there were paper towels in the car, she drew a lot to wipe her face and tears, and then threw them everywhere in the car—She was indeed doing this to vent her anger!

Edward couldn't help tightening his hands on the steering wheel as he saw that. She wanted to fight against him? Fine, he could bear that!

"Stop ahead. I can walk to school!" Jane pointed to the crossroad ahead. She didn't want others to either see her sitting in a Ferrari or being with such a jerk!

Edward pulled over, and then he delivered a golden card to Jane, "No motors, no electric bicycles. Just buy yourself any other car you like. Password: 880714." That was his birthday.

"..." Jane was still in a rage, getting off the car without taking the card.

She liked to take an electric bicycle, and she would buy a new one after work today!

Edward was speechless again.

He called Stephen, "Stephen, I thought you can at least afford a car, right? Why does your sister still ride an electric bicycle?"

"Well, she doesn't have a driving license, and she's afraid of those four-wheel vehicles." Stephen explained, but his tone became serious all of a sudden, "Edward Pike, what do you want with my sister?"

"Nothing. Her bicycle was smashed by someone, so I drove her to school." Edward chuckled and then hung up the phone.

It was break time when Jane walked into school. The students were all playing outside. Seeing her here, they all greeted, "Morning, Miss Sidney."

"Morning, everyone!" Seeing their happy smiles, Jane felt happy as well. But her phone rang at this time.

Jane took her phone out. It was her brother.

"Stephen?"

"Edward said your bicycle was smashed by someone and then he sent you to school? What happened? Have you got hurt? Where are you?" Stephen asked her a lot of questions without pausing.

"I'm fine." Jane was pissed off the moment she heard Edward's name. He even told Stephen that her bicycle was smashed? Shame on him! Why didn't he just tell Stephen that he was the one who did that!
