Chapter 3 The Stars

But what I did not expect that the stars I would see are from the bruises on my forehead after he forcibly kicked back the main door, which swang to my face. The door which he kicked just hit my forehead. It made me dizzy and I did see stars circling my head.

Either Kelvin was careless or that he intentionally swang kick the door when I was following him inside the room. I hope he was just sloppy.

Feeling a big bump growing on my head, I sensed my veins were getting raw. My fingers already felt a mass bruising up.

But the cause of this headache seemed not to care that he gave me an injury.

I could not believe his indifference. Wow.

Thus I weakly dragged the chair near the luggage cabinet and sat down, still massaging my head. I was a little dizzy, and by truth was already tired from the day's event. My excitement went a meter down.

Having hardly slept this whole week because of this excitement on my dream wedding, my emotions were now replaced with anxiety.

Kelvin kept ignoring me and did not speak a word, so I took it as a hint to keep quiet too.

But when I noticed that Kelvin was removing his jacket, I was startled. I tried to hide the blush, heating my face.

I took it as a hint and followed Kelvin's actions. Time to change to nightgown?

So, I took it as a hint to start undressing and followed Kelvin's actions. Time to change to nightgown?

I also started removing the pearls pinned on my hair. Although there was always a maid assisting me when I change items of clothing or the hairpins at home, this time, I tried to remove the pearl pins by myself.

I clumsily unbuttoned my flowing gown. I wanted to ask help from Kelvin, but since he did not look at me even once or come near me when I was bending side to side to reach the locks from my back, straining my back, I decided against asking help.

Damn, this was a hard lock to wrestle—what a dress.

Every button took me an eternity to unfasten; thus, I was shocked when I raised my head and saw that Kelvin's back was all naked in front of me.

Kelvin had thrown all his items of clothing on the floor. He was naked as the newborn.

Yeah, my face was tomato red, my mouth hanging open. I must be a real sight of a drooling woman, my saliva dripping already. Shameless me.

With a lump in my throat, Kelvin suddenly turned around and faced me in all his naked glory.

I have never seen a naked man before me, but the sight of naked Kelvin did not fail my imagination. I coyly looked at him standing before me, my stunned face, unable to say anything. Perfect man.

Clearly, my eyes ogled from my extreme admiration to Kelvin's toned features, to his unique regal bone structure and perfectly symmetrical face. He is all manly, better than most models who graced the cover of magazines.

While he was all handsome head to hair, there was no softness in his eyes nor welcome from his lips.

This time his face was black foreboding, contempt clearly shown in his expression.

I gasped.

I was scared and taken aback by his vicious, angry look directed at me. It was the first time that our eyes met after the wedding.
