Sham sat at the secretary desk feeling abit tired. She was just a few weeks pregnant and she felt so sleepy and exhausted yet it was work time, infact it was few minutes to lunch. She decided not to go for lunch with Amal and maybe take a rest in the car or even at Amal's office. The fact that Jecinta came to visit Amal gave her some worries and she couldn't understand why Jecinta left laughing in a mocking manner. 'Could it be that Amal gave in to her seduction. Did they have sex.' She thought. A cold sweat dropped down her armpit at that thought. She knew she was developing feelings for Amal and it was something more than special. Shortly the telephone on her desk rang and Sham took it. "Miss, the investors are here to see Mr. Amal. They want to have a meeting with him should I direct them to the boardroom?"

"Yes Charlotte I'll be there with Amal in a short while." Sham said then placed the telephone back. The thought of going for a meeting made her sick. She strolled towards Amal's office.

Sham stood on the door and knocked but there was no answer and for the first time she became worried. She then opened the door and to her suprised she found Amal sitted, his head sank in his hands laying on the desk. Her heart sank for a second and she started trembling vigorously. The worst thoughts started hitting her and she took a deep breath and moved towards where Amal was and held his neck. Their was pulse. She breathed and let out a relief sigh. Amal raised his head shortly and stared at her in a manner Sham didn't understand. "What is it Sham?" He said sounding pissed off by her presence. She was silent for a minute trying to examine him. "The investors want to meet you now, Charlotte just directed them to the boardroom. I need to rest too so can you meet them alone please?" Sham said smiling softly. "I can't attend I'm not feeling well you attend." Amal said trying to lay his head back. "I really can't Amal. I'm really tired and sleepy, the pregnancy won't give me a break. Please Amal, I'll sleep here or in the car. She said trying to hold his arms and chest to tease him into accepting and at least releasing out his anger or frustrations maybe. Amal pushed her hands off hard and Sham was not getting what was happening to him. "I hired you to work! Not to sleep! Attend that meeting right now!" Amal said in a fierce tone. Sham moved back frightened. She had never seen Amal in such a temper. "What's wrong Amal?" She asked still curious to know what made him that mad but he ignored and laid his head back. Sham freezed there for a minute then walked away to attend the meeting. It was clear Amal was mad at her.
