Sham couldn't just work she felt so much uneasy and every person that had crossed her path kept commenting that she was in a bad mood. Looking through her watch she decided to just go home or go get a few drinks or even get extremely drunk and just forget about the disappointments she had to suffer from. How stupid was she. She met Dennis with no job and she feeling that she had gotten the right man for herself took care of all his needs and left no room for him to complain. Immediately he got a job he promised to make her the happiest woman in the world but all that changed when he got his first salary and he just kept saying he was busy he had meetings and kept going for trips. She bit her lips and laid her head on the table in front of her. 'How could I be so stupid I should have read the signs instead I kept getting my hopes up.' She thought. She stood up and took her handbag and headed off checking out at the reception. She just couldn't think about this anymore. She headed off to Jecinta's office. "Hey.." Jecinta said noticing her

"Girl I'm going home early today." Sham said taking a sit in Jecinta's office. "Are you okay Sham?" Jecinta asked looking at her. She noticed the break up was affecting her deeply. "No.. I'm even thinking of going to a bar and take a few shots to clear my mind, I can't do this anymore. Sham said tears lingering her eyes. "Ooh girl...let me finish a document here in the next few minutes then we leave maybe I should be there for you."

"What about Franklin?"

"Don't worry he left yesterday night he had to go see his mum." Jecinta said.

"Ooh okay let me visit the washrooms I'll be back." Sham said standing up and leaving for the washrooms. She got there and their was no one inside perfect time for her to shed her tears. She took her handkerchief and tears flowed even before she released them. She was so damn stupid five relationships no results were the hell was her life heading to. For a moment she felt like maybe her mum was right Everytime she commented 'If you don't let me make decisions for you, you probably won't make the right decisions for yourself.' Was her mother right, she kept asking herself as tears rolled down her cheeks. She then stared at her engagement ring which was still on her left middle finger and she had hopes that Dennis would call and just apologize and maybe they will talk and try to fix things before the wedding comes. She had not even called anyone to let them know that she had cancelled the wedding. But it's seems Dennis didn't even care whether she was hurt or not. It was day three no call no text and no explanation. Or maybe Jecinta was right her ego and pride was killing her. She took her phone and dialed Dennis number then on going to press the call button she thought of how stupid she was. Dennis was cheating so that means he should be the one calling to apologize not her calling to listen to him apologize. She placed her phone back to her handbag. She then wiped her tears. All she wanted was to get drank and waisted at a point beyond recognition. She walked out of the washrooms and headed back to her office to go find her boss and ask for a day or two off at least to make her think hard before coming back to work.

"Girl are you sure you just want to get drunk and wasted to forget about Den.. you still love him and want him back right?" Jecinta asked Sham as they were in a taxi a few minutes away from the Eastham Liquor baze. "Of course Jecinta I love him..we were about to get married remember.." she said showing her the engagement ring and continued speaking, "It's day three since that incident and no call, no text no nothing from him girl..I just don't want to think about all this anymore..men are dogs and big monkies." Sham said and frowned. They got to the bar and paid the taxi and walked out heading to the bar. They took sits and placed orders. "If Franklin guesses where I am right now he'll kill me." Jecinta said trying to change the story and the mood. "Why?" Sham asked . Jecinta laughed. "He always says I'm too pretty and good to be sitted in a bar taking drinks." Sham was silent and her face showed she wasn't even listening to whatever Jecinta was saying. "Hey kill those thought of Dennis let's just have a good time okay girl, we can do something that's fun." Jecinta said holding her chi and turning it to her. "Yeah you are right, you know what's the funniest thing we can do." They two looked at each other eyes broadening and they both screamed looking at the stage side of the bar. "Karaoke!!" They both jumped from the sits and headed to the stage and gave the DJ their request. They then went on drinking waiting for their turn. Finally they got up to the stage and took the microphone and started their singing act and giggling and drinking but mostly singing.
