Sham stood in the bathroom leaning to the sink. Her heart was broken by all she saw that morning and what's worse was the fact that that Amal was trying to explain himself. She couldn't believe Jecinta had succeeded in ruining her one chance of being happy with a man she wanted to be with. The thought of everything made her heart sank and her eyes full of heavy tears. She looked miserable it was evident and now she had made up her mind to go visit her mum for a while to compose her and make her think about her life once more. The bathroom door swang open and Sham raised her head and saw Amal walking into the bathroom through the bathroom mirror. The tap was open, so she decided to wash her face apply her make up and leave. "Sham, please hear me out I beg you." He said. Sham felt awkward, she didn't want an explanation it was evident that they were intimate the previous night and what hurt most was the fact that Sham kept calling Amal that night but his phone was off. "I can't remember what happened last night, I swear, I was so drunk because of thinking about you and my baby and us and...." He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry for all the words I said yesterday, I was receiving negative pressure from..."

"Jecinta.." Sham said. Tears kept on flowing from her eyes and all she did was wipe them and wash he face. Her chubby cheeks had turned pink and her whole face looked paler. "Yes and Ben and I was stupid to listen to them, I remember passing out at the bar, how I got here and what happened is just so new to me. I swear Sham I just don't know what happened."

"You want me to tell you what happened, Amal." Sham said turning to face him. "You slept well with Jecinta, you got intimate with her and now you humiliated me Amal, I loved you and I wanted to spend my time with you, yes maybe you were just a rebound at some point in my life but all I wanted was you to be more and you had started winning my heart, then you broke it." Sham said as tears flowed. Amal faced down, shame filled him and he just didn't know what to do. "I know I have betrayed you but we can work this out, we can make things right please, don't leave me Sham, we have a kid together. I swear I will do my level best to make you happy and I'll rectify my stupidity." Amal tried to explain but Sham had made her mind already. "Go back to your lover Jecinta, I don't want to set my eyes on you ever again Amal, I hate you with my life." Sham said then turned to apply her make up and just leave that house. "No, no no no, Please Sham let's talk it out and make things right between us, I can't loose you now more than ever, Sham you don't understand I'll go crazy and my mind will explode with thoughts. I swear I'm sorry." Amal said trying to hold Sham but Sham was still she didn't resist neither did she comply. "Please don't leave me." Amal said holding Sham from behind, arms at her waist tight but gentle. "I don't want to loose you and my baby please Sham, I swear I'll change for you, we can make things right we can be together again please, I promise to make the best out of ourselves I promise to be loyal to you till the end. I promise." Amal said as tears fell down from his face. Sham was shocked she didn't expect him to cry that much, she thought he was already thinking of having Jecinta. But all his actions made her realize it was her that she loved but she had to go and figure out what to do with her love life and just make plans and make them right. "Let me go Amal." Sham said when done with her make up. But Amal held even tighter. But the bathroom door swang open again and Jecinta walked in finding Amal busy shedding tears on Sham's neck and holding her tight begging her not to leave.
