Amal watched Sham's face as tears dangled on her eyes. She was silent and she didn't say a word. For a moment Amal felt like he had done a stupid thing to let his mind out loud to her. But he just felt like saying it and at least saving Sham the stress if her pestering him. Sham stared at him for a minute then she looked aside and licked her lips in confusion then breathed while her eyes were closed. She them stood up from her seat and then looked at him trying to swallow out something to keep herself calm. "Okay Sir, excuse me, I'll be in the secretary's office if you need me." She said then walked out. Amal breathed then stood up to get a glass of cold water at least to cool him down. He was feeling hot. 'I should have been silent, what if she is right, what if she truly loves me.' Amal thought then rubbed his face and holding his head and hair. Shortly the telephone rang and he hurriedly took it expecting Sham to atleast say something to him. "Sir, It's Charlotte, Sham instructed me to work as your personal assistant while she takes the secretary position. Should I?" Charlotte said and Amal felt more guilty. He breathed for a while then said. "It's okay."

"Thank you Sir." She said then hunged up. Amal sat down and laid his head on his desk and thought of everything he had done. He felt like he was going crazy. He shouldn't have. What made him even more crazy was the fact that Sham didn't respond neither did she cry on his face all she did was stare and walk out. Amal decided to sort this issue out at least to give him a piece of mind. So he called Charlotte and requested her to let Sham come to the office but Sham didn't. Instead She called and claimed she was busy working on some issues the investors had suggested in the meeting. Amal felt like hanging himself alive. 'What was she thinking right now.' that question kept ringing in his mind. He decided to drink it off.

"Dude why did you do that!" Marcus said raising his voice at Amal who was busy drinking like he had never before. "I was lost, Marc I was confused I just don't know everyone who knows her well keep telling me the wrong side...."

"By everyone you mean Jecinta and Ben, are they all the people who know her. Amal you could have investigated everything first. What if she is truly in love with you." Marcus said disrupting Amal's statement rudely. Marcus was mad at Amal and Amal knew he was but he wondered why he was mad at him. "Why does this issue hurt you like this?" Amal asked raising his head to look at him keenly. "Because I fought for this relationship. Sham is a good person I can see it in her eyes. You are just listening to people who are envying you and her can't you see." Amal was silent after hearing that but he knew Marcus had a point.
