Chapter 29 Blind Date
Julia Miller went to work early in the morning, and Laura Green got up before bed. The weather was very good. She cleaned up the house for Julia Miller a little. After staying for a week, it wasn't long before they started school again.
She went out and went to the hospital by car. She was going to give her grandmother peace.
After entering the ward, Laura Green found out that the old lady was exceptionally good.
So she suggested that she be pushed out and walked around. She also agreed that Aimee had given Laura Green a chance to help her onto the wheelchair.
There was an artificial lake in front of the hospital. Laura Green pushed the wheelchair to walk over, pushed the old lady under a big willow tree, and sat on the stone bench beside her.
The old lady looked closely and nodded, then looked up at her obedient and filial granddaughter. She lamented, "It's really hard for you to be outside!"
"It's okay, I feel very fulfilling!" Laura Green replied.
The old lady shook her head. "Grandmother knows that you are very capable, but I don't want to see you work so hard!"
Such a young girl would have to run around to earn money before she graduated.
As she said, she took out a small note from her pocket and handed it to her.
Laura Green picked it up and opened it curiously. It was a person's contact information and address.
"Grandmother, what is this?" Laura Green was a little confused.
"A few days ago, an old colleague of mine came to see me. Her grandson just graduated this year and just went to work in London. She came to live for a few days. This is her grandson's contact information!" Said the old lady.
Laura Green understood and shook her head. "I still don't want to think about these things. I'm still a student!"
Laura Green was a little resisting. She didn't want to go on a blind date at all. Besides, her current status was not suitable, but she could not tell his grandmother.
"Oh, you're all twenty—one years old. The most reliable thing in a woman's life is to find a good man. I can rely on you quickly!" The old lady advised her bitterly. "Besides, I have to give my old colleagues a face. You're done. Don't care whether you want to. Let's meet first. Let's say that, maybe we'll close our eyes! "
"Is the time given?" Laura Green was shocked.
"I didn't know that you came back yesterday and will come to see me today, so the two of us are making our own claims!" The old lady said embarrassingly.
Laura Green was a little helpless. Why do elders like to worry about their marriages?
She had lunch with her grandmother in the hospital and stayed for a while before leaving.
Laura Green took out the note and looked at the address above. She could only bite the bullet and go to the appointment.
When she rushed to the coffee shop on the address, Laura Green was a little confused. She was actually opposite the TOTAL Building.
She arrived half an hour earlier. She waited for the booked seat first. Through the glass of the cafe, she could see the elite in and out of the building opposite.
As she was a little surprised, a crisp male voice interrupted her thoughts.
"Are you Joan?" A medium—sized boy in a gray T—shirt stood in front of her.
Laura Green quickly got up, nodded, and politely greeted, "Hello, I'm Laura Green!"
"My name is Luis Turner!" The boy introduced himself and invited Laura Green to sit down.
His gaze was fixed on Laura Green's face from the beginning. He did not expect her grandmother to introduce the girl so beautiful, he was a little embarrassed.
