Chapter 9 Will You Look Down On Me

It was already ten o'clock when Laura Green returned to London Park. There was a car parked in the yard.

There was no light on the first floor, so presumably Tia had already gone back to sleep.

The entire corridor was lit with lights. She went straight to her room. Just as she reached the door, the door opposite the bedroom was suddenly opened. The man with a slightly wet hair came out in a bathrobe, as if he had just taken a shower.

"You're back!" Laura Green greeted him a few seconds later.

Paul William looked at her and was about to go downstairs to drink. When he saw the bruise on her arm, he stopped.

"The place like a bar isn't for you. You're still a student now. You should focus on your studies!" This was his advice.

Laura Green was stunned. If she wasn't sure before, she could be sure now that the figure she saw in the bar was him. David Smith came out of his room. It turned out that David Smith had not appeared for no reason tonight.

When he thought that Laura Green was feeling a little uncomfortable, he could see the picture of her being entangled.

"I'm just a waitress there!" She looked up at him.

For some reason, she felt that his eyes were a little harsh, as if she was looking at a child, and she was still a bad girl.

"If you don't have enough money, you can go find Tia!" Paul William said as he looked at her. His gaze passed over her pale face. There was a five—finger print on her originally white arm.

Laura Green lowered her head. His words made her face the inequality between them for the first time.

Looking back at these days, she tried to behave generously in front of him. Everything was easily lost to the money.

Money was really a good thing. Because she didn't have the money, he could see her embarrassed look.

"Would you look down on me!" She looked up at him. There was no shame in her eyes.

Paul William looked at her too straightforward and stubborn eyes. The girl in front of him was still too young, so young that he felt pity.

"My opinion is not important. The important thing is that girls should protect themselves!" This was his last word of advice.

Laura Green looked at the back of his stairs and was slightly confused. Was this his concern?

The next day, the sun rose and life continued.

In the small attic of the villa were some paintings brought by Laura Green.

Paul William said that she should focus on her studies. She did not forget that she was an art student, but expecting to become an artist after graduation was a luxury. First of all, she needed to be able to feed herself.

The two paintings piled up by the wall were the works she had won at the school's art exhibition. Laura Green gently tore off the cloth and put them in a cloth bag.

When she went out, she took a taxi to the place where Julia Miller sent her.

It was a relatively quiet and elegant street, surrounded by bookshops and coffee shops. The street was clean and tidy with pink flowers on both sides.

Laura Green stopped in front of a gallery calledCloud Gallery. This is where Julia Miller's summer internship took place. She said that in September, there would be an exhibition of thousands of people. Anyone's work could be participated. Someone bought it.

"My dear, you're finally here!" Julia Miller saw Laura Green standing at the door and ran out to meet her.

Actually, it wasn't long before the summer vacation, but she still blamed her.
