Chapter 48 Something related to Miss Eudora

In 26th floor of the Ascendas Plaza — President Office.

Yates Miller couldn't help but frown as he looked at the incoming mail from the Propaganda Department.

He subconsciously looked at the tightly shut office door, hesitated for a moment, then got up and knocked on the door: "President Davis?"

"Come in."

The man's cold voice came from inside. Yates Miller raised his hand to straighten his collar before entering.

Ellison Davis was standing in front of the elegant window.

Hearing Yates Miller's voice, he turned around and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Mr. Davis, someone sent a photo to the company's mailbox."

"Hmm?"

He harrumphed, and his brows slightly moved on his cold face.

"It's related to Miss Eudora."

"Transfer the mail to me."

"Okay, Mr. Davis."

With that, Yates Miller turned and walked out.

He let out a sigh of relief when the door closed behind him.

It was past three in the afternoon when Sage Eudora returned to the apartment. The servant called to her as she entered.

She nodded and without saying anything, she lifted her leg and went upstairs.

Sage Eudora was wearing a long, white, chiffon sleeve today. She still felt pain from the pinching of Kelley Simmons's sleeve until now.

She changed into a set of short sleeves and placed her right hand in front of her. Only now did she notice that her arm was already swollen.

Sage Eudora's skin was white and tender, and when Kelley Simmons had pinched her, she had used a lot of strength. The swelling on her arm was very obvious.

She looked at it for a while and finally ignored it. She fell backwards onto the bed.

She hadn't expected him to know, and although he had comforted her, she still felt terrible.

The matter of marrying Kyrie Simmons a few months ago, she was still rightfully married. But now, following Ellison Davis, she was neither a girlfriend nor a wife.

She was just a woman he needed.

Just like that, such an unbearable existence was torn apart by Kelley Simmons in front of everyone. This was no different from stripping her clothes off and making her stand on the street.

Sage Eudora did not know when she fell asleep. Until she got awake, the sky had already darkened.

The servant knocked on the door. She asked, "What's the matter?"

Probably because her voice was too soft and the servant couldn't hear her. She called out to her again, "Miss Eudora?"

Sage Eudora knitted her brows. She could only get up and open the door. "What happened?"

She had just woken up, and her voice was a little hoarse.

"Miss Eudora, I've already prepared dinner. I have something to do tonight. Can we leave early?"

"Then go."

"Alright, thank you, Miss Eudora.

The servant left. She was the only one left in the apartment.

Sage Eudora sat for a while longer before she went downstairs to eat dinner, it was at this time that Ellison Davis came back.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Sage Eudora was stunned for a moment. She stood up. Ellison Davis already entered.

He glanced at her indifferently, then closed the door. He lifted his hand and untied his tie as he spoke. "Help me get a bowl and chopsticks."

He raised his hand and threw the bag onto the sofa. Then, he walked up two steps and sat down at the dining table.

Sage Eudora finally went to the kitchen to help him fill the bowl with food and soup.

She had already eaten enough. Looking at Ellison Davis opposite to her, Sage Eudora didn't dare to put down the chopsticks in her hand.

Ellison Davis ate in less than 15 minutes. He put down his chopsticks, raised his head and looked at her, "You went out today?"
