Chapter 45 Did the Eudora Family make

things awkward for you?

Sage was also happy for Issac's recovery. They were all relieved when seeing Issac become vivacious again.

"Still uncomfortable?"

She sat down in the chair and looked at Issac Moore's head.

In this car accident, Issac Moore had done four or five operations.

"I'm not feeling bad anymore. I've been healed everywhere since I saw Shelly."

"You really know how to make people happy."

Murray Tomson standing to the side raised his eyebrows. He stretched out his hand to grab the book that Issac had placed on the table, and said, "This year, the first place might belong to others because you didn't catch up with the normal students as usual."

Issac Moore coldly snorted. "It's not like we're sharpening our weapons on the eve of a war. It's just relying on long—term hard work."

"How about a bet?"

"What bet?"

Issac Moore was a young and vigorous student. From the first grade until now, he had always been the first in the grade class. He was indeed a good student. If someone questioned him, he would naturally refuse.

"It's already June and you're pretty much better now. You have about twenty days left for the sixth of July. If you can still get first place, I'll give you the painting you liked last time. If you can't, then come to work in my shop for free for two months during the summer."

"Sure."

Issac Moore did not actually study painting much. He did not like the painting, and the person who liked the painting was Sage.

All these years, he had witnessed Sage Eudora's sacrifice for the orphanage. They all thought he was still young, but he knew everything.

All the children growing up in orphanages were precocious.

No matter how hard Sage Eudora tried to protect them, if she wanted them to be safe, there was no way to avoid it.

Sage Eudora peeled the apple and smiled at Issac Moore. "Which painting did you take a fancy to?"

Issac Moore smiled mysteriously. "I'll show you when I win."

Sage Eudora saw that he was happy, so she did not say anything.

Sage Eudora and Murray Tomson had accompanied Issac Moore for more than an hour. The sun was shining brightly as they walked out.

Sage Eudora had a very shallow smile on her face. This was one of the few things that made her happy in the past few days.

"Send you back to the Simmons Family?"

Sage Eudora was slightly startled by Murray Tomson's words. She shook her head. "I'm divorced."

"The Simmons Family took it?"

Sage Eudora looked at him and pursed her lips. She did not say yes, nor did she say no.

"Where do you live now?"

"Near the Times Square."

She couldn't let him know exactly where she was staying, so she gave him an approximate address.

Murray Tomson looked at her deeply for a moment. She said nothing, and let her into the car.

There was a red light in front of them. Murray Tomson looked at Sage Eudora standing outside the car. He could not help but ask, "Sage, did the Eudora Family make you a trouble?"

"Ah?" "No, no."

Sage Eudora felt somewhat guilty. She only glanced at Murray Tomson once before lowering her head to look at her bag.

The Eudora Family did not make things awkward for her. With Ellison Davis blocking their way, how could the Eudora Family dare to make her a trouble openly?

Murray Tomson was well aware of Sage Eudora's situation in the Eudora Family. Naturally, he did not believe her words.

Back then, the Eudora Family had asked her to marry into the Simmons Family. But now the Simmons Family asked for a divorce. Just thinking about it, one could imagine Sage Eudora's current situation.

But if she didn't say it, he wouldn't force her to answer his questions. If she did, it would only make Sage Eudora more embarrassed.

The two of them had their own thoughts. They didn't speak. The carriage was very quiet.
