Chapter 27 Excuse me, I'm looking for President Davis.
"I have already known I'm wrong, Mr. Davis..."
Sage Eudora looked at the car as it gradually drove away, and couldn't help crying out.
It was time to get off work.
Some of the bicycles passed. The dirt seemed to slap her in the air, but no one stopped to help her.
Resting for a while, Sage Eudora got up from the ground.
The sky had gradually darkened, but there was no bus heading straight for her. All she could do was walk step by step to the bus stop.
She didn't go back to the orphanage because Issac Moore couldn't wait any longer.
The villa was a little far from the bus stop, and it took Sage Eudora about half an hour to get in.
She stood at the entrance of the villa, regretting everything what had happened last night.
However, there was no regretting medicine in this world. People always had to pay for their impulses.
Sage Eudora raised her hand and pressed the doorbell. The butler came out very quickly. She then was stunned for a moment. "Miss Eudora?"
"Butler, I am looking for President Davis."
Hearing her words, the butler was surprised, "President Davis went to the clubhouse tonight and won't be back."
Sage Eudora pursed her lips and nodded her head, "Thank you, Butler."
She did not say anything else and turned around to walk out again, one step at a time.
The butler walked out from the door and looked at Sage Eudora's back. Thinking for a moment, he went in and dialed a number.
After Yates Miller hung up, he looked at the man silent on the sofa. He hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he didn't say anything.
He had thought that Ellison Davis was a little bit interested in Sage Eudora. This afternoon, Sage chased their car and fell down, and he didn't make any response to her action.
Yates Miller felt that he had been thinking too much.
It was already past 9. Sage Eudora arrived at the clubhouse.
She hadn't eaten anything for nearly twelve hours, or drunk a single sip of water. But now she stood at the door of the clubhouse with no strength.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for President Davis."
Even so, she tried to be polite.
Sage's current appearance was really too embarrassing. All those who could come here were either rich or noble. People were in want of getting close to Ellison Davis. This was the first time they saw such an overconfident man.
Sage Eudora was mercilessly 'invited' out. She supported herself with her hands on the ground with intense pain from her palms. She gritted her teeth and stood up again: "I am Sage Eudora, may I ask you to notify President Davis's secretary for me?"
"Hum, Sage Eudora, how did it become such a coincidence?"
Sage Eudora finished her words. Queenie Eudora's voice emerged.
She walked over from the elevator. She was wearing a short dress with a wine—red collar. Her makeup was exquisite, reflecting Sage Eudora even more miserably.
Seeing Queenie Eudora, Sage Eudora subconsciously took a step back.
She pursed her lips and did not speak. She only looked pleadingly at the waiter at the front desk.
But this didn't mean that Queenie Eudora would let her off just like that. Thinking that her divorce from Kyrie Simmons made the Eudora Family lose a lot of money to appease the Simmons Family, Queenie Eudora was full of anger: "Why, we haven't seen each other for only a few days and you don't recognize your sister?"
Queenie Eudora said, as she went forward to push her back.
Sage Eudora took a few steps back, almost falling down.
She raised her head and glanced at Queenie Eudora. She pursed her lips as she turned to the waiter, "Can I ask you to contact Mr. Miller for me?"
Sage Eudora's eyes turned red. The waiter could not bear to see such a sight. After thinking for a moment, he decided to make a call.
