Chapter 25 Miss Eudora is here to meet Mr. Davis

Sage heard what Phyllis have said, and her countenance suddenly turned pale.

But at this time, no one had the time to care about her.

Tina Smith also noticed that something had gone wrong and quickly went over to ask Phyllis Foster, "Phyllis, what's going on?"

Phyllis Foster's face did not look good. The hospital said that they have no beds, and our medical fees have yet to be paid. Yesterday, President Davis, he..., forget it, let's go to the hospital first, otherwise Issac Moore will be chased out by them!

"Fine, wait for me for a moment. I'll go to put on my shoes!"

"Hurry up!"

Sage Eudora looked at them, and her hands constantly grabbing them.

Tina Smith did not forget to tell her, "Sage, you can rest in the courtyard by yourself. Now I must go to the hospital with the dean."

Sage Eudora did not say anything as she watched them leave. After a while, she went to the washroom to wash her face. She found the clothes that she left behind when she came back to live, and went out as well.

The orphanage was almost in the outskirts of the city, so they had to transfer to a bus downtown. It was already past 11 o'clock when they arrived at Ascendas Plaza.

Other than asking for 200 yuan from others, Sage Eudora had nothing with her.

It was her first time to come into Ascendas Plaza. She looked at the twenty—odd storey building and her palms were all in sweat.

Sage Eudora was simply dressed, with a white T—shirt on top and jeans on the lower half. Her shoes were white shoes from a long time ago. Although they were clean, it could be seen that her shoes were very old.

She washed her face before going out. But the cut on her left cheek had already formed a scab. It was very obvious.

The receptionist caught sight of her, and she was momentarily stunned. The two of them exchanged glances before the slightly taller receptionist said to the other receptionist, "Go to inform Mr. Miller."

She smiled at Sage Eudora, "Miss Eudora, are you looking for President Davis?"

Yates Miller had told them at the front desk a long time ago.

Sage Eudora was frightened by the courtesy. She pursed her lips and nodded, "I don't have an appointment. Could you help me find Mr. Davis?"

She knew that with her current state, it was already a luck that no one would be able to chase her out.

But Issac Moore was in the hospital. Thinking that she left last night without any hesitation, Sage unconsciously felt a little embarrassed with her body trembling slightly.

She was like a snake being pinched in seven inches. She couldn't go anywhere.

"We're already contacting Mr. Miller. Miss Eudora, please wait a moment."

Sage Eudora nodded her head, "Thank you."

She was standing there when a few executives of the company walked in and her sight landed on Sage Eudora. One of the female managers raised her eyebrows and walked over, "Amy, who is this? Isn't standing here affecting our company's image?"

The female manager's words were too unpleasant. The receptionist, Amy, looked at Sage Eudora and smiled awkwardly: "Miss Swift, Miss Eudora is here to meet President Davis."

Hearing Amy's words, Lisa Swift's face changed, her gaze falling on Sage Eudora suddenly became strange, "Miss Eudora, I heard that you're looking for President Davis, have you seen President Davis before?"

Who didn't know that Ellison Davis would never meet someone unrelated to the matter, let alone a woman?

Sage Eudora looked at her but did not say anything. She raised her head to look at Amy and said, "I will wait over there."

She walked to a corner where it was not easy to see her.

Lisa Swift held her anger in her heart. She couldn't run riot at all. This was the first time she had met someone like this. Her sarcasm was obvious, and she didn't say a word.

Glancing at Sage Eudora, Lisa Swift pursed her lips and left while stepping on her high heels.
