Chapter 9 Divorce Agreement

Hearing that it was not Ellison Davis's voice, Sage was relieved a little bit.

The door was open. It was the servant who had just come in to deliver the clothes.

She held a few tubes of ointment in her hand and handed them over to Sage Eudora, "Miss Eudora, this is prepared for you. It can ease the burning sensation on your skin, and this tube can help to dissolve blood stasis."

Sage Eudora was stunned for a moment before she stretched out her hand to receive, "Thank you."

"Then I won't disturb you."

The servant walked outside again, leaving Sage Eudora alone in the room.

Two—thirds of the neck to the right side of the chest was red. Even after so long, there was still a burning sensation.

After a moment's hesitation, she went to lock the door, then went to the bed and took off her clothes.

Her skin was white. Kelley Simmons's cup of hot tea had almost burnt her skin. Fortunately, there was a layer of clothing covering her skin, so it could help her recover quite a bit.

However, the skin on her neck was somewhat miserable, and had started to get some swollen blisters.

The scalding ointment sent by the servant was very cold. Sage Eudora carefully treated the wound, put on her clothes, sat on the sofa, waiting for Ellison Davis.

It was already 11am. She had returned to the Simmons Family estate. After making such a ruckus, it was already past 1am. Sage was very hungry now.

The door was knocked again, and the moment she left the room, she felt intense again.

"Miss Eudora."

Not Ellison Davis.

This time the servant brought in food and drink.

Sage Eudora had been left alone in this state for an entire day. Being on tenterhooks for an entire day, she was completely exhausted.

She stayed up until around 9 PM. However, she couldn't take it anymore and then fell asleep on the sofa.

In the afternoon, the servants came to deliver the food. Sage Eudora forgot to lock the door and easily pushed it to open.

When Ellison Davis came in, he saw Sage Eudora wearing a thin, loose white shirt. She fell asleep on the sofa. The shirt slipped off her shoulders, revealing a third of her chest.

Her skin was white as porcelain, and the burns on her chest were obvious.

His black eyes moved slightly. He walked over and sat on the sofa opposite her. He didn't even wake her up as he just watched.

Sage Eudora who was still half asleep suddenly felt that someone was staring at her. Her vigilance caused her to wake up abruptly.

When she saw Ellison Davis sitting across from her, her face, which had turned red due to sleep, immediately turned white.

Her skin was white, her face was pale, but her lips were very red.

Such a sharp contrast actually added a touch of delicate beauty.

"You woke up from your sleep?"

The man's eyes shifted as he leaned back against the sofa and looked at her coldly.

Sage Eudora clutched her throat and uttered a syllable. "Hum."

Hearing her words, Ellison leaned forward, pressed his fingers against a piece of paper on the table, and moved closer to her.

These two words, neither fast nor slow, neither light nor heavy. It was impossible to tell what she was thinking, but it carried much of weight as it pressed down towards Sage Eudora.

Her outstretched hand kept shaking slightly, so the document easily slipped from her fingertip. The man suddenly groaned, "Tut."

She trembled and quickly bent down to pick up the document.

Only now did Sage Eudora clearly see what exactly that document was.

On the front page of the document said" Divorce Agreement" in large letters. Below these were the clauses listed.

She only took a quick glance, then looked up at Ellison Davis in disbelief, "President Davis —"
