Chapter 3 I'm Going to Change Clothes

Interestingly, this little woman looked soft and weak, but she left no room for conversation.

Aaron went to the cloakroom. This house was their love nest five years ago before Lillian Judd left.

In the huge cloakroom, there were still a lot of Lillian Judd's clothes, all in spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Aaron's slender, clean fingertips swept through pieces of clothing and finally stopped on a white over-the-knee dress.

He liked to see Lillian Judd wearing white, because Lillian Judd's skin is white like porcelain as if it blended in with the white dress. As she twirled in front of him, the hem of the sarong fluttered wildly with the wind, and the whole person was like a butterfly of uncanny beauty.

Aaron smiled bitterly, yeah, like a butterfly, flew away.

He took the chosen clothes to the guest room, Cana still wrapped herself tightly under the quilt and then stared at him cautiously.

"Take this."

Aaron handed her the skirt.

Cana took over the skirt and distracted slightly.

She was a girl after all, how could it be reasonable not to look at beautiful clothes a few more times?

Cana unfolded the skirt, which was a princess dress with white lace. The cut was exquisite, the lace was hollowed out, and the front placket had a pleated petal design.

She stared at the skirt seriously, but Aaron's eyes were always on her.

It was just a dress, and she looked at it for so long.

Feeling the man's scorching eyes, Cana returned to her suddenly, her cheeks flushed slightly because of embarrassment, but her voice was pretended to be tough, "Please go out, I'm going to change my clothes."

Aaron raised his hand and looked at his watch, it was almost nine o'clock.

He was an extremely self-disciplined person. Since taking over the company, he hadn't been late and left early, and had never been heard any lace news to damage the company's image.

It was said that five years ago after Lillian Judd left, Aaron returned to the company, but he could not be recognized by the shareholders. So, during the Brown Family`s vast enterprise, he picked a subsidiary that had been losing money for years. It only took two years of reform to turn that subsidiary into a profit, and it became an industry sensation. It had even been written into college textbooks as examples.

Before leaving, he looked at her deeply and said to her, "I hope we never meet again."

It wasn't until she heard the sound of his closing the door that Cana got out of the quilt.

She went to the bathroom to take a shower and put on a new skirt before leaving Aaron's high-end villa.

Fortunately, the skirt was more conservative, and the sleeves were also seven-pointed, just covering the brutal act he left on her last night.

The reason why she refused Aaron's stinky money stiffly was that even if there was a dead end, there was at least one house at home.

Although it only had more than sixty square meters, it could sell for seven or eight hundred thousand at current house prices.

After her mother suffered from uremia, the family's savings had been used up and now she could barely sustain dialysis, let alone a kidney transplant.

Thinking of this, Cana got on the bus and wanted to go home immediately, and discussed with her father about selling the house.

However, as soon as she arrived home, Cana was dumbfounded.

The door lock at home had been replaced with a key, and a bad feeling came over her.

Cana hurriedly picked up the phone to call her father, it was shut down.

She called her younger sister Ada, it was not shut down, but no one answered.

Cana was very anxious. She knocked on the door desperately and it didn't respond at all.
