Chapter 5 The Old Scar

A few meters away, Lynn Evans walked over with a large group of interns.

Nancy Lewis loosened the hands without a trace and smiled, "I Just thought of something. Head Evans, why don't you leave yet?"

Although their relationship was the senior brother and the junior sister, she never called out "Senior Brother" before others.

"I was stopped and had a temporary thing just now. Would you..."

Lynn Evans wanted to say, "Would you still like to have dinner together?" But because several people were staring behind him, he could only swallow his words.

"Head Evans, goodbye!"

Nancy Lewis waved, crossed the corridor and got into the special elevator for the medical staff.

The elevator was empty.

She turned her body and looked at the slightly pale face in the mirror.

The light gently covered the face, casting the eyelashes, the bridge of the nose and the corners of the lips. The dense silhouette with the delicacy that could not be drawn even with the most meticulous brushstrokes.

She was as stunning as ever.

It was a pity that the smile that used to hang over her mouth had faded away. For a man, in order to live skillfully in this world, how many secrets he must hide?

The elevator went straight to the parking lot. Seeing her car from afar, she unlocked remotely with her car key and was about to get into.

Suddenly, a dozen people popped out and surrounded her completely.

"Miss Nancy Lewis, may I ask if you are really the ex-wife of the First Young Master of the Mac Family?"

"Do you divorce because of the intimate pictures of the First Young Master of the Mac Family and Best Actor Miller two months ago?"

"May I ask if the First Young Master of the Mac Family is homosexual?"

"When did his relationship with Best Actor Miller begin?"

"I heard that Hugo Mac gave you a large amount of alimony when you divorced. Is there such a thing?"

"Miss Lewis, Miss Lewis, please answer our questions."

Nancy Lewis bit her lip. These questions one after another, like the coldest thin ice, ripped the pain that was deep in her heart.

The old scar was lifted again, and the wound oozed thick blood. Even the viscera were faintly painful.

She weakly said out five words, "Get out of the way."

However, this weak voice drowned in the scrambling questions, and a few impatient paparazzi even reached out to push her for they didn't get an answer.

Nancy Lewis suddenly got in the car like a bereaved dog, closed the door, and rapidly pressed the lock button.

"Miss Lewis, Miss Lewis, please don't go."

The windows of the car were slammed, and Nancy Lewis started the car in a flurry, pulled the handbrake, and stepped on the accelerator.

With a shrill sound from the tires, the car rushed off.

"You guys, this is the biggest scandal of Best Actor Miller, and do we chase?"

"Yes, stop her."

When the car was driven out of the hospital, Nancy Lewis let out a long sigh of relief. However, she just heaved a half sigh when she saw several people violently honk the car horns behind her to signal to her to stop.

So interminable!

Gritting her teeth, Nancy Lewis stepped on the accelerator, speeding the car up. However, the three or four cars outflanked her at the same time, and she was forced to drive up the overhead roads at an intersection.

As soon as she drove on the overhead roads, Nancy Lewis felt that the situation was not good.

There wasn't much traffic on the road, so it was easy for several cars to force herself to stop, and even a cop could not be found.

What to do?

Nancy Lewis was panicky all at once. She was capable of using the scalpel, but driving and shaking off the paparazzi was not her strong point. And more importantly, she had no sense of direction.

Which one of these overhead roads leading in all directions was to her home?

The sharp horns grated over again, and the paparazzi rolled down the windows to speak to her.

"Miss Lewis, stop. We won't hurt you, and we just want you to answer our questions."

"Miss Lewis, if you still don't stop, then don't blame us for being rude."

Nancy Lewis's thoughts all messed up. She was confused about what to do, and even her eyes were even a little blurry.

"Bang!"

The car crashed something heavily and the body rotated a circle where it was, and she was frightened out of her wits with panic in her eyes.
