"We need to bathe her" he looked at her sceptically before she continued, "so that I will know where to start" she added quickly.

"Okay," he said gruffly then walked out with his hands at his back.

The workers heard the door opens, they went hidden not wanting to face their King; afraid of him venting his frustration at them.

He sat on his throne while messaging his temple to eased the forming headache. His beasts were restless because it had been three hours he had been sent out and they needed to be assured she was fine.

He paced around while his beta followed him.

"What," he said irritatedly, "why are you following me" he growled.

The beta cowered away while bowing, this was not his friend, it was his beasts and they deemed a submission.

"Nothing my King," he said while following him.

"Then stop lurking around" he commanded, the beta stood still.

"My King" Avivita called.

"What happened? is she okay?..." He rambled nervously, afraid of what she would say.

"I called her soul back but sir you will need to be gentle with her. She is fragile and weak human" she said softly.

"Are you lecturing me?" He growled, feeling annoyed.

"No" she screamed with widened eyes.

"Then?"

"It just that" she paused, " when we were bathing for her, I noticed some scars on her body and some burnt scars like cigarette ash on her body" she glanced at the King before she said what could make the King to exploded.

"She was abused".

"Who dare to abused her" he snarled making all the glasses to shatter. Thunder was striking, the castle was eerie silence because they knew if the King was angry the thunder strikes.

"Where is she," he said while trying to control his anger and beasts. They wanted to vent out and destroyed everything but they needed to see their mate.

"She is in the room sleeping," the healer said. When the king stride away to meet his mate, the healer sighed; thanked the goddess for not letting the King destroy anything. And she ran to her mate for comfort.

The King entered the room and sat beside his sleeping mate, he stroked her hair.

"Hey!, stop thinking like that!, she will learn to love us and if she doesn't, we will chain her and marked her" his demon- Ryn growled at Ryl shutting him up.

"Shut up all of you!, you are giving me a headache" the king scowled at his beasts while Ryn rolled its eyes as Ryk and Ryl whimpered.

The king felt his unconscious mate jerked, holding him in a tight grip while thrashing and murmuring some words "don't leave me".

"I will not even dream of it καρδιά μου" he kissed her hands that were holding him. (My heartbeat)

As he was stroking her hair, he felt her breathing changed to normal. She sighed in content while she snuggled close to him.

"What is her eyes colour, or her favourite food or her favourite place to go. Will she prefer mango or apple? or..." Ryl rambling was cut off by Ryn.

"Please where is the alpha king?, please don't tell me he already softens" Ryn mocked while Ryk shook his head amusingly.

"What can't I imagine my mate?" Ryl said defensively.

"Do you know what I imagined?" Ryk licked his lips sensually.

"Shut up" the King grumbled before smiling. But his little amusement vanished when he heard a cough.

The King patted his mate chest softly before she released a loud gasp.

The King gawked at his mate eyes, the King couldn't fathom the wave of happiness that washed over him.

He stared at her chocolate orbs that filled with fear before she released a loud shrill.
