Chapter 007 The truth he did not know
"Observation for one night. If there is no problem, you can be discharged tomorrow!" The doctor could cure Nancy Moore's back wound, but could not fix her broken heart.
Few moments after returning to the ward, Nancy Moore could feel the unbearable pain all over her body as the anesthesia was invalid. She bit her lips tightly, holding back the snoring noise.
Sam Brown saw her trembling with pain without making a sound, which was really distressing.
His deep eyes sank, and he whispered, "Sister, I'll go to the doctor to get some painkillers."
Out of the ward, Sam Brown made an unpredictable phone call.
"I want all the information of Francis Jones, especially his marriage history with Nancy Moore." Hanging up the phone, he went to the doctor's office.
When Lucy Miller saw that there was no one in Nancy Moore's ward, she came in with a mild smile. "Nancy, are you okay?"
"I'm still alive. Sorry for disappointing you." Nancy Moore responded coldly.
"I just care about you. I haven't seen you for a few years, but you are still so stubborn!" Lucy Miller acted like a good sister who loved her younger sister.
"Hum! I don't have any sister. My mother only gave birth to a daughter!" Nancy Moore sneered and said coldly.
Nancy Moore's mother married an irresponsible man. Not long after she gave birth to Nancy Moore, that man cheated on her, and she was depressed.
After her mother died, her grandfather took Nancy Moore back to the Moore family to raise her. She used the family name of her mother as Moore.
Lucy Miller's smile froze on her face, holding a cane and slowly walking to the bed, "Nancy, are you not curious about the reason why my foot would hurt?"
Nancy Moore said nothing. Lucy Miller outperformed her on acting skills.
But she was not stupid. She obviously threw the tablecloth towards the other side, and Lucy Miller could still be hurt so far away. She must be playing a trick.
At this moment, Nancy Moore was so painful in her body that she didn't have the power to deal with her.
Lucy Miller reached out her hand and caressed the diamond ring on the ring finger casually.
Under the light, the diamond ring refracted a dazzling light, which stung Nancy Moore's eyes.
"I used this ring. But I didn't expect that Francis would be so nervous like that." Lucy Miller smiled smugly.
"Shameless!" Nancy Moore growled angrily.
Lucy Miller looked at Nancy Moore with contempt, "Nancy, you still don't understand? The person that Francis loves is me, and you will always be the one who broke us up and used a premarital agreement to coerce him into fulfilling her husband's obligations."
Lucy Miller's sarcasm reminded Nancy Moore of what Francis Jones had said.
"Mrs. Jones, who do you want to show this scenario of love to? Your grandfather is dead!"
"Mrs. Jones, why are you so cheap that you want to use this prenuptial agreement to force me back to fuck you?"
"Mrs. Jones, you are the most shameless and disgusting woman I have ever seen!"
Francis Jones hated the pre-nuptial agreement, hated Nancy Moore to break him up with Lucy Miller, and even hated Friday!
But without that agreement, Nancy Moore might not even see him!
"Lucy Miller, you are so vicious. You will be punished!" Nancy Moore said fiercely.
"Punish?" Lucy Miller laughed, "You can never get the love of Francis. And this is the punishment for you to break me and Francis up!"
"I never intervened in your relationship. It was you that wanted to abandon him when the Jones Group was facing bankruptcy!" Nancy Moore snorted coldly.
"I didn't! It was you that forced him to marry you and break us up with your money and power!" Lucy Miller hurriedly denied.
"You lied! When the Jones Group was in trouble, I heard you tell your mother that you wanted to break up with Francis Jones!" Nancy Moore shouted emotionally.
"Nancy Moore, do you think that Francis Jones could believe what you said? Even if you are the heir of the Moore family, so what? Your mother won't get the love of my father forever. So do you. You won't get the love of Francis Jones for a lifetime!" Lucy Miller's words pierced Nancy Moore's heart like a sharp knife.
