When Emma came home, Mr. Wood was watching a TV show and Mrs. Wood was knitting a sweater. Seeing her come in, Mrs. Wood looked up and said, "You worked so late today!"

Mr. Wood turned the TV down a little bit and looked over.

Emma changed her shoes on the porch. She deliberately hid
