I quickly rushed to the kitchen as fast as I can. I'm already panicking, I don't know what to do or what to do first. The birthday celebration will happen later night, there will be a lot of guests.

I'm just newly working in this mansion, just about four months ago. I keep on hearing that Elrod's son will also be here later, I haven't seen him but just by hearing from the other maids how strict he is. I won't be wishing or even hoping to see him, I just don't want to.

"Hope Apricity Wixx!"

I immediately rushed to the backyard as I heard my full name being called, I already know that she was already mad if she was calling my whole name. It was madame Rita Prina, the oldest and main maid here in the mansion.

"Yes madame," I said panting.

"Didn't I tell you to clean the pool?!" She shouted making me flinch a bit.

"I already did madame—"

"You already did?! Look at that!" She pointed at the pool. "Look how dirty that is! I will be asking you the last time! Clean the pool already or else I'm going to drown you there!" She shouted madly before leaving.

I immediately nod as I started cleaning the pool again, I have already done this but there was another dirt on the pool again. For sure the other maid just has put that dirt in there for me to be scolded, they like it when I'm being scolded.

Once I have finished cleaning the pool, I heard my name again being called to the kitchen so I rushed and went there. They were asking for my help in the kitchen to cook the food.

I prefer working in the kitchen to anywhere else around the mansion because mostly, the other maids just keep on tricking me. Like locking me in the basement, scaring me with real looking dead mask, pushing me to the pool. I just never fight back, I don't wanna lose my job, I just started.

They ordered me to cook five types of dishes and I happily accepted and did it. By this, the other maids won't be able to do tricks on me, they can't put anything to the food since there were a lot of guests that will be eating later and one of those is the most feared son of the Elrod's. If they make tricks with the dishes that I will do them probably we'll all be fired.

The evening has come so fast, madame Rita has already commanded me to change my clothes to our uniform to look presentable inside the mansion so we would look more formal than, she always reminds us to know our limits and stay in our line, as a maid.

I wear my maid uniform as I put my hair in a messy bun before walking out of the maids' room to help the other maids to prepare since the guest was already coming one by one and partner by partner. They do look like billionaires, they all looked so gorgeous and formal.

"Oh my god! The Elrod's son has arrived!" Les, another maid whispered slightly shrieking.

"Right! I saw him, he really looks so hot!" Samantha, another maid.

I didn't mind them as I continue doing my job while quietly listening to them as the party have started. We're already getting busier assisting the guests and we have nothing to do but obey their orders because we're only their maids. We're paid to work for them.

"Everyone, I would like to have all of your attention. Eyes on here please" I heard don Oscar say, but definitely, we're not part of those being called.

Everyone looked in front as what don Oscar have said while we maids continued working, moving and walking here and there.

"I would like to present to all of you. Well a lot of you surely had already know or have heard about him as he is one of the most successful businessmen already, but I still want to introduce to all of you my son, Gasper Rust Elrod, the Miraya Company's CEO" He announced sounding happy and excited.

"Miss, can you get me more drink?" A guy asked me when I walked Infront of him.

"Just a minute, sire," I said as I went to the kitchen.

Waiters are walking around, they are the busiest ones as they are those assisting the guests with their food and drinks while we maids were just assisting them if they want to find someone or want to go to this part of the mansion.

Some maids are placed in the kitchen and some maids are placed to look over the guests and I'm one of those who have to look over the guests.

"Kalvin, the guest from the fifth table from the left was asking for more drinks," I told one of the waiters.

"Thank you" He simply said before walking back to the kitchen.

I went back to my place as I look over the guests again when suddenly my eyes landed on the mad standing in front beside don Oscar, he was looking back at me making me look away immediately.

Is he Gasper Rust Elrod? Don Oscar's son? Geez, he does look so scary, just by our eyes meeting way I can already feel the whole body trembling in fear, his eyes have those cold stares that will literally make you cry and beg even if you're not even doing anything.

I already felt the fear just by meeting his eyes, I felt like he was judging me as if I have done something bad. Or am I? Did I make a bad move? Have I done something wrong that took his attention?

I was already praying for myself and my soul when suddenly he spoke with the mic.

"Good evening everyone, it's nice seeing all of you here and happy birthday to my dad"

Eben his voice already sounds so cold that can make my whole body shiver in fear, I just wish I haven't done something bad in front of him.
