RAQUEL

It's been over two weeks, since she found herself locked inside the ancient tower and for the past two weeks, she had never actually seen anyone trying to harm her.

She discovered that the mansion, or should she say ancient looking castle has so many beautiful features, which looked a little bit ancient. She could tell owing to how the structure still stood tall.

While in the castle, there's this lady named Audrey, who always brings her beautiful dresses to change into. The clothes, of course beautiful dress with fine and smooth stitches. Sometimes she wondered how they managed to get all these dresses when she sees nothing but a lonely castle.

Today, Raquel has planned on going round the castle to see how it looks like. So far, no one restricted her movement, and neither were her hands and feet tied up.

She decided to accept her fate, the day Ezra told her about a King whom she had never met. She had wanted to ask him further questions, but he rather just walked away.

What scared her even most, was when she discovered that the wolf and Ezra were different, she almost passed out. She was so very curious about who the wolf was, because she had never once seen it in its human form.

Whenever Ezra came around, he never stays in much, as if he was ordered to stay away. It was only the big wolf she sees around.

Raquel left her room to sight see around the palace. Since she wasn't restricted, she walked into different sections of the castle, observing the area.

Suddenly, she noticed a slightly open door. Being very curious, Raquel walked quietly into the room, only to discover that it was a mighty chamber fitting for a royal Queen. She observed that a beautiful gold crown was sitting in the middle of the old bed.

She wondered who this people are, and what regime they ruled in because looking around the whole castle, she had never seen anything looking familiar with the outside world, just like the shiny gold crown laying on the bed.

She slowly approached the bed to see more about the crown. Looking at it carefully, it seemed to have a name written on it. She brought her gaze down to the crown, to see it glowing in different colours.

This was so strange. Though she didn't know much about ancient stuffs, but she could tell that a crown like the one in front of her, was placed mostly in the museum for people to see.

Suddenly, she had the instant urge to touch the crown, so she slowly brought her hands downward. Just as she was about getting a hold of it, she heard a low growl, and that immediately made her jolt away. The growl seemed to be coming from the entrance of the door, so she quickly turned around, only to find the big wolf at the door, staring at her with his gold coloured eyes.

She became speechless in what to say because she could not really explain what she was doing in the room.

“Uhm... You see, I wasn't really trying to touch it, or maybe I was actually tempted to touch it, but believe me, I wasn't really about doing anything.”

The big wolf suddenly walked into the room staring into her eyes, at that moment, she thought he was going to pounce on her so her heart began pounding erratically.

But he rather just walked past her and headed to the bed where the crown was placed and laid his huge form next to the bed.

How weird. Did he just growl at her because she was about touching the crown? Not only that, but he also sat beside it like she was some intruder who was about stealing the crown.

Raquel folded her hands to her chest, positioned her weight on one leg while staring at the big wolf. How curious she is to know about him and why he chose to remain a wolf because she knew all wolves have their human sides. In fact, all werewolves were human before they turned to a wolf.

She slowly approached the wolf, watching him closely. He in turn stared at her, and she could tell that he knows her every action from the way he stared at her most times.

“Tell me, who exactly are you?”

It didn't say a word but just stared at her blankly. Same thing over and over again. It would never say a word or even turn into a human, but he knows when she's trying to be sneaky.

To be honest, the big wolf is the reason she hadn't escaped a second time because she knew he would come after her. But what's but the strange fact is that this wolf kidnapped her.

She wondered if the wolf, Ezra and the rest of those in the palace are all working for this Highness whom she had never met.

She remembered Ezra was telling her about taking orders from this Highness. If that was the case, it means this person in question is either the King of the castle who might have been married to the Queen whose room she's in and also the owner of the crown which was on top of the bed.

Everything happening in the castle was just like a dream to her, and sadly the dream has been dragging on for far too long.

Still staring at the wolf in front of her, she suddenly noticed that its eyes seemed sad, or could she be the one imagining this also.

She walked even closer to the wolf bringing herself down to its level. It was huge and big, but not as tall as her height.

Getting down to his level, she watched him curiously. There's just something she wanted to find out about this wolf. They both gazed at each other intensely that he became the first to flinch and when that happened, he was the first to turn his gaze away slowly.

It seems this wolf cannot hold unto a human gaze for long. If he were to be an ordinary wolf, it would have growled at her closeness towards it. But he didn't, and rather averted its gaze away from hers.

“You have a human form, don't you?”
