HIS HIGHNESS?
RAQUEL
She had another nightmare, this time, she actually saw herself in a rusty bed, and the wolf climbed on the bed she was in, watching her. That was damn scary for her because she had never imagined a wolf could actually climb to the bed.
Suddenly, she felt something soft beneath her, and she began to wonder if she was already dead and in the afterlife.
She slowly opened her eyes wide, only to find herself on a bed, not just any bed, the one she had been in, before she ran away.
She immediately stood u straight from the bed. To her, greatest shock this time, she wasn't tied up like she thought she would.
Looking around the room, it was still the same way she saw it back then, just that it looked more humanly than before. The room was well arranged, the floor which was initially rusty now looked sparkly in clean, making the marble time exquisite, even though it is ancient.
Now she was beginning to wonder why he still let her live, when he could have killed her as she gave him the chance to.
Since she wasn't tied up, she felt maybe he wanted her to feel free and happy before he kills her.
She had seen cases about those who commits homicide behave. They make their victims delighted by doing just anything they wanted before they were finally killed.
Her eyes randomly darted to her feet, and seeing her feet now, she just realized she had an injury on her foot.
Raquel drew her knee up to the length of her shoulders, so she could see the injuries she sustained for herself.
To Raquel's surprise, she didn't find any blisters or bruises on her legs. She could not believe her eyes, as she began turning her foot hoping to see the blisters but mysteriously, the blisters she saw before she slept were no more. Not even the pain came. This was terribly surprising.
She tried recalling what happened to her last night. If there was anything she remembers, it is the fact that she somehow felt ticklish down her toes. It back then, she was just too weak and exhausted to know what was actually happening to her.
Just as her thoughts wandered off into a thinking sphere, the hard iron door Suddenly creaked open to expose the same guy she saw that day, the man who she had bitten before running away.
He slowly walked in her, while watching her every step he took into the room, suddenly he stopped in front of her, though still far away from the bed. He seemed to want to say something, owing to how he brought his two hands together, and started rubbing them together.
Whether a wolf or a human, she could tell that they both become nervous, and what this man in front of her was doing, was the exact same thing a normal human feeling nervous will do.
Why was he feeling nervous anyway, he's human now and could talk. Oh, maybe he's feeling nervous because she actually caught him as he was about eating a big wolf panda.
“Huh… How are you feeling now?”
What, is he being serious with her now? His she was feeling, after what he did yesterday.
She didn't say a word to him, but rather just watched him. Now he was feeling awkward. Raquel slowly shook her head, this was the first time she was seeing a nervous beast who was trying to kill.
Perhaps it was his first in trying to kill a human, but that's understandable.
“Well… I hope you like the room now?”
Raquel would have rolled her eyes now, if not for the fact that, she might just end up dying the moment she did that. But then, she can't continue doing this with him.
“Why don't you get it over and done with, beast?”
She had no idea what was happening, but his facial expression seemed to be that of horror. Why did he give such reaction when he's actually a beast?
“Mi Lady, I think toy are greatly mistakenly, about my identity.”
Hell no, she can't be mistaken one bit. She knew for a fact that he was the beast, why was he trying to deny it.
She didn't pay him any mind, but rather wondered if there was a possibility of a werewolf developing personality disorder.
“What would you like to eat, so I can have them prepare it for you”
What! No way, his must totally be a dream.
“Huh, listen, you don't have to feed me before you kill me because I will never grow fat.”
“What, I'm not trying to kill you.”
This seemed to have pissed Raquel off. Dealing with a complete psychopath, was better than being with a seriously damaged one, who refuses to see what he is.
“Why don't you accept it, you are a beast!” Raquel screamed at the Werewolf in front of her, when the door suddenly flew open again and this time, a large black wolf came in.
Raquel ran away from the bed to the extreme end of the room, seeing the beast. It was the same beast she found in the woods.
She could see that its eyes have changed it's color to golden brown m, which was strange.
If she's not mistaken, this only means, the large Wolf in front of her, was the same beast she had been fighting with all these while?
She instantly darted her head to from the beast to the man standing beside the beast. This was damn scary.
“What the hell is going on here?” She asked, still darting her eyes from one to the other.
The wolf stared at her intently. She knows this gaze, this was the sane faze of the wolf who kidnapped her.
“Say something!” She screamed, utterly confused about what is happening. The wolf stood at a spot, while the guy, in human form, began approaching her slowly.
“Don't you dare come any closer!” This made the human guy stand dead in his tracks. He heaved a long, taking a glance at the big wolf besides him.
“I know you are still perplexed as to why you are here, but I can assure you that His Highness didn't mean anything bad”
“What! His Highness?”
