CHAPTER 1- QUINN

QUINN

I was standing on isle upstairs, where I had a view of everything going on in the club, tired of sitting in my office for hours going over my paperwork and sipping on my glass of martini that was served to me over an hour ago.

The verdict, the club was doing well and could most definitely afford to hire two or three bartenders.

Tonight, asides from the fact that it was a weekend, was no different from the other nights. The night was very busy as everyone was trying to rid themselves of the hassle of the week. Some work, some college, some may be heartbreak, or something else.

My gaze locked on a blonde whose gaze has been on me the very moment I came of out my office. I smiled, raising my glass to her. I knew who she was because, for the past few days, she has been coming here and won’t stop staring at me. I knew what she wanted and I was more than willing to give it to her. But I had to make her sweat for it.

I love when they seemed desperate for me because I knew I could give her what she wanted. If not more.

Yes, I am that good.

Tonight, however, I decided was her lucky day. I was going to give her what she wanted after nights of making her wait.

I turned around, shut my office door close before walking down the stairs, as I made my way to the blonde through the sweaty crowd.

“Hey,” I say once I was next to her, drinking the last of my martini and sliding the empty glass to the bartender for a refill, sticking out my middle finger and pointer at once requesting two drinks.

“Hi,” she says trying, but failing miserably to hide the nerves in her voice. This only increased my ego because I liked it when they were nervous.

“Quinn,” I say

“I know” she replies quickly, I smirked making her cheeks turn a crimson shade of pink.

“I mean, I know who you are because you’re quite popular here. Everyone knows Quinn” she quickly corrects, and I gave her a look that said ‘tell me more.

This seemed to annoy her as she rolled her eyes.

“Never mind,” she says and I nod. “Buy me a drink” she orders and I hand her a glass of martini I had already requested from the bartender.

“That fast? I hope you didn’t spike it” she says playfully and I smirk, sipping on my drink before replying.

“I can get a woman just fine. Thank you!” I say with a wink and she blushes, catching into what I meant.

I sip on my drink as I watch the dance floor as people danced the night away. A red hair on the dance floor catches my attention as she swayed her hips seductively against this dude that was clearly, already having an erection.

She was freaking hot. I smile thinking to myself, making a mental note to have her some other day as I already had a blonde next to me who was gradually undressing me with her stare.

“Want to get out of here?” she whispers to my ear and I smelled the alcohol in her breath, making me suddenly aroused.

“Give me a minute,” I say, downing what is left of my drink and disappearing in the back.

Nate, my best friend and partner and the closest thing I had to a big brother, had his tongue down Faiza’s throat, his girlfriend of six years, who recently became his fiancée. The site makes me gag as I struggled not to throw out.

“Dude, get a fucking room! Jesus” I say, pulling them aside, making Faiza grumble.

“What the fuck! What is your problem dude?” he inquires, annoyance quite evident in his voice.

“Take charge” I ordered, fishing for the key of my car from his pocket

“Where are you going?” he asks, putting his hand over his pocket making it impossible for me to take out my keys.

“Someone is waiting for me up front,” I say, ignoring his attempts as I tried once more to take my keys from him.

“Who?” he asks, his question taking me by surprise

“Not Faiza” I fired back

“Hey, watch it. That’s my fiancée you’re talking about” he warns. Nate was very protective of Faiza. He had no troubles with people talking ruthlessly to him, but when it came to Faiza, be careful, you might lose a tooth.

“I’m sorry” I apologize, more to Faiza than to Nate. “Can I have my keys? It's rude to keep a pretty girl waiting” I say getting impatient.

Nate looks at me warily but hands me the keys anyways.

“Be careful?” he says

“Okay mom,” I say sarcastically as I seized the keys out of his hand and hurried back to the front. At first, Nate was okay with this. He knew I wasn’t into relationships due to what I went through in the past. But recently, he hated it. Ever since proposing to Faiza, he wanted me to find someone and settle down with him. Now that I wasn’t okay with it.

What good will it bring me to find someone, only to have them betray me in the end?

I was fine being single and sleeping around thank you very much.

No feelings. No hurt.

Bien.

La vie est parfait

Worried that the blonde may have left, I rushed back to the front, just to find her twirling her finger around a strand of hair as she hungrily looked at the Red hair I had my eyes on earlier, swaying her hips.

She’s got great taste too.

“Let’s go” I whispered in her ear, touching lightly on her arm. She nods, picking up her little purse. Placing my hand on her lower back, I led her to the back of the counter, passing through a small corridor that led outside.

I press the button on my key, the door of my car opening. The blonde gets in on the other side, while I got on the passenger side.

I turned on the ignition of my car, driving off with my victim for the night, of endless pleasure.
