Jim's surgery is a success.

Jim, who comes out of surgery, is not unconscious, but awake. He has a broken left small arm and it is immobilized in a cast. He is tougher than most kids, not crying or screaming, just lying quietly in bed, and comforting Song Qian, who is crying, not to be sad.
