CHAPTER 6 ELIJAH: THE MYSTERIOUS CREATURES

At night, I could no longer be quiet. Nightmares are visiting me again and my dream is still a bit strange now.

I was on top of a lofty mountain; rocking at the top I was feeling heavy. Any time I could lose my balance or stumble I could fall on high ground. I watched a kingdom shrouded in fogs, The kingdom was prosperous, there were many pastures surrounding it. Some people work in the mine, others fish, weave, selling fruit and vegetables and others being beaten with whips, some lifting cements wood and other building materials. Most of them are unkempt and slave –looking while other people wearing crowns and expensive garments surrounded by jewels and stones sat on the throne drinking wine. But that didn’t grab my attention but a group of young children playing on the side of the palace.

They were playing happily and no longer cared about the scorching sunlight. A tall child kicked the small, pitch black rock until it sprang against the palace wall.

“Tiarka!!!(I’m screwed!!) the child said while he is pale with fear.

“Es di kar Coviar repartation sedar cupin Teviara (The stone sprang up near the palace wall.) replied by their little playmate with a round face.

“Hara pina nebuka Coviar ne daria (Okay fine, we will go with you to pick up the stone) replied with another child with puffy eyes.

I don’t know why I understand their language or maybe my dream helps me that I know the meaning of what is happening around me.

The eight young children walked towards the palace wall, they take a slow step and find the timing to get the stone. The guards surrounded the palace, and when they saw them they would surely be punished.

“ Selku novo nebuka Coviar. Recompus di ci gahe tigum presaria Vaikan dre za Waya opgu takara beum (We have to get the stone, strictly forbidden without Vaikan or Waya who can approach the palace if there is nothing important to announce. We will be punished when they find out we are here.) said the child who kicks the rock.

“Shhhhh!!!” another child with black hair replied.

They noticed no guard at the other station of the palace where they found the stone. The youngest girl ran to pick up the rock, but a guard passed by and spotted them.

“Obrias!!!” (STOP) the guard shouts.

The children heard, they were suddenly alarmed so they quickly ran away but they were followed by three guardians.

At the speed of their feet their female companion stumbled.

“Duncan vesulca vivar!!!” (Duncan, blind them!!) command of the tallest of them all while still running straight.

Duncan allegedly confronted the guardians. He blew them out of his mouth and in an instant their eyes were darkened, they groped on the sand.

He helped the girl who had fallen. But before the girl could stand up she suddenly sang. Her voice was as cold as the voice of the singers in the theater.

“E sear mo viarca la…..la……la……la…….

From her song the guardians were mesmerized one by one fell to the ground and kissed as if asleep in her voice. Her voice was like those singing a lullaby to a baby.

My hair trembled, they were not just ordinary children they had special powers. The one got a power to make someone blind; he blinds anyone to blind their sight while the other sings to put the enemies to sleep.

For a moment my vision wandered within the kingdom, there were five boys approaching the wobbly mirror. Its shaking is no longer normal, as if it could explode at any moment. Seemingly the eldest son removed the cloth wrapped in the large mirror in the palace hall. I felt a strange heat all over my body, as if my blood was boiling after I observed that boy. Why? What does he have? I haven't understood much yet what resentment was building up between the two of us because of the opening of the glass the dazzling light was exposed in front of them. Too bright to go out all over the palace. It caught the attention of eight young children not far from the wide and long border of the palace.

Intense curiosity struck the youngest girl as well as the young child who got the power of blinding someone.

I try to warn the two kids not to attempt to climb the wall. The glare is too dangerous though I'm not sure what it might do to whoever sees it then. I tried to shout but no voice came out of my mouth. I waved my hands, but I was too far from the palace to look at me. Furthermore, I couldn't help them either, I couldn't help but wait that's just what they're going to do next.

I saw how stubborn the two children were, they still insisted on their wishes. They ran back with full force and jumped high to reach the wall.

“Obrias me bar Mara, Duncan!!!! (Stop it Mara and Duncan.) but it was too late, even though the eldest son shouted loudly, the two children were already climbing the high wall.

I never thought they could jump off such a high wall. My estimated wall size is about 15 feet tall, and any normal person cannot get there unless aboard a helicopter. The Vaikan and Waya are very mysterious maybe they're just like the ones I watch in movies like Van Helsing and Wolverine.

Six youths followed the two companions up the wall they simultaneously jumped upwards as fast as a jet. But when they reached the top of the wall they were quickly enveloped by a majestic light until they suck one by one. I blinked several times before looking again in the direction of the kingdom The light was so intense that it almost blinded my vision. When I looked again, I could no longer see the eight young children on the wall as well as the five young boys within the kingdom. In an instant they all disappeared like bubbles.

(Someone snapped the door hinge.)

"Elijah, it's noon! You're going to miss school."

Time check 6:00 am, I got up and that’s where my dream ended.

I don't want to think, even if I want to forget my dreams, I can't do it. "What is the relationship of my dream to two consecutive nightmares of my youth?" Or do they all really relate to my personality? I can't share this with Mother I don't want it to cause her concern but I get more and more confused day by day and as my dreams multiply, questions also proliferate in my mind. I was too young to experience any imagination or maybe Mother is hiding something from me but whatever it is, it still remains a mystery. She didn't even mention anything especially to my parents. She reported at my young age that they were dead and only their names I know. Just what he would say, that’s also all I knew.

I continued my thorough study, first day of the quarterly examination, I feel like I'm just going to get tired. Heaps of work at the same time as reviewing but go ahead, that's it. After all, it will only be over in a few days. But it was hidden from my knowledge as I was preoccupied with school life there are creatures looking for daily food.

The night was very cold, and heavy rain kept pouring down and steady flooding on the road, rainwater is almost overflowing over the canals and gutters. There was no moon that night, so darkness reigned in the sky. Despite the strong gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, with a few footsteps constantly traversing, fast running and looking at every corner of the public large garbage dumps of leftover food. The wolves were already soaking wet, they had already dropped all the trash, smelling the smell of rotten eggs, broken fries and other foods wrapped in plastic wrap and torn tissue. Whatever they get, they forcefully tear it to pieces until their stomachs are full.

KKKZZZTTTT!!! The sky flashed and thundered.

WWWOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!!!! At the same time the strong wind raged and because of that a power wire was broken and hit in a mini store. It exploded for a moment and almost hit the balloons as the trash cans exploded again. They jumped quickly and ran away; they didn't even get some of the leftover food they had traded in the trash.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the forest where it is surrounded by crows an old -fashioned mansion with no other witnesses but wild animals.

Shouts could be heard in a very dark room asking for people's help. At the same time loud growls can be heard, muffled voices that seem to be dying and writhing in pain. Collapse.

BBLLLLLAGGGGGGGGG!!!!

One by one they fell to the floor as if they had fallen from a high place. Broken glass and other glassware. The surroundings were so dark, crickets and the whistling of owls could be heard in the back of the house while it’s very quiet inside the house. Thick fog enveloped the whole corner, a mixed smell of rotting as stinking as any dead creature, cobwebs surround the ceiling as well as the tables and doors but more shocking, people lying on the floor, bathed in their own blood and lifeless while successive footsteps can be heard. Turns as if floating in nothingness, feet that came from pale creatures whose mouths were full of blood. Creatures that glare with poisonous eyes. Creatures that hide in the earthly body with sharp claws and fangs that is very thirsty for the fresh blood of the people.
