I woke up from deep sleep.

I woke up but darkness still reigned in my sight.

He kept calling my name and I was a little nervous so I hurried out of his room. I walked over to where he was. My knees are shaking. I was nervous, scared, and my heart was pounding and no longer beating normally.

"Mother! MOTHER!" his voice continued to echo.

The door was ajar.

I felt every sob and I found him crammed into the bed when I heard his feet slapping on the wooden bed. Yes, I feel that he is next to the bed. When I heard his feet slapping on the wooden bed, I approached and patted his head and only his eyes were exposed and wrapped in a blanket as if terrified of whatever he sees inside the room.

For the moment my breathing slowed, I sneezed to release my doubt.

"You scared me. What is the problem?" I tried to calm down to help him explain to me what had happened.

"Mother I’m scared. I can’t sleep." Her eyes were almost bulging with excessive crying.

I pity him. At a young age do not lightly lose the naughty imagination of children especially since midnight is approaching when they think of wonders until they are attacked by bad dreams.

I mustered up the courage to talk to him. I felt like he was watching me. I casually laid my hands on his hair and gently brushed it after that I wiped the tears from his eyes and hugged him tightly there I felt the pain and agony of his childhood but despite everything, I still remember the day when I last glanced at him. He was so handsome to look at. His chocolate hair was neat and his gray eyes were shining even now I feel the edges are still red and they are teary. I tried not to feel sorry for his condition.

"I just tell you a bedtime story until you fall asleep. " I said.

I tried to encourage and reassure him again so that his fears would go away,

"Okay." he replied. But I think he smiled caused perhaps the twinkle of his gray eyes.

"The story tonight is titled Celestial Moon." My gentle voice initiated the loud barking of the dogs around. It was as if I woke them up to listen to a strange story that only I knew.

"Once upon a time there are few living beings from the creation of the world. They possess magic that drips from their blood. Magic gives them strength so they are called spirit warriors."

"What is spirit and what is a warrior?" he asks.

I heard the stuttering of his words.

"The spirit is like the human soul, when the spirit leaves the human he or she loses consciousness. The warrior, on the other hand, fights against the wicked and defends the oppressed."

I did not hear him respond to what I said. Instead, he just laughed even though I knew he didn’t understand what I was explaining.

"There are few creatures came from small tribes on the shores they make boats, most of them were fishermen. They possess a unique power to transform. They multiplied even more over the years until they split into two groups."

"What are they?" he calmly asks.

"They are werewolves in human form." I felt a little creepy when he suddenly took a deep breath.

"They live in Cielo de Grande, a rich and immense land."

"The first group of the werewolves are called Vaikan or royal bloods belong to the royal family. King, Queen, Princess, Prince, Duke, etc. They have white skin color so they are considered special. The second group is called Wayang or warriors or well-known chief keeper, they are the ones fighting to protect the nobility. They include soldier or guard but the ordinary wolves and the poor are also among them. Their skin is blue, they possess a strange agility, sharpness of mind and they do not get sick lightly."

"Kilua was the first powerful spirit deity of their race. He is believed to use magic to save the entire land of Cielo de Grande. Kilua is said to have joined the Wayang in the war against evil strangers attempting to destroy their land. Their spirit leaves the earthly body to fight against the evil elements."

"They are friends with animals that see their spirit, they can do a lot like shout out loud to create a wave to repel enemies, they blow strong winds and they can create earthquakes and open up the earth with their fists. Extraordinary strength and courage overthrew their enemies so the invaders who wanted to occupy their land were afraid, their neighbouring tribes made an agreement to the Wayang and Vaikan to unite and live peacefully."

"They offered sheep, gold and other things they can give in gratitude for their god. All of their offerings were burned in the belief that smoke conveys the message to send Kilua the gifts of wolves to him."

"Time passed and Kilua left the land. The creatures were worried because there was no leader to save them against evil invaders. But it doesn’t all end with his disappearance. Another generation of wolves came. Kilua’s apparition showed three novices, he gave them power and blessing to defend their land. They are Kiba, Meka and Akina."

"Kiba is from the Wayang and he is the oldest of the three, Akina , on the other hand, is also from the Wayang and he is middle-age while Meka is from Vaikan and he is the youngest wolf even though he came from the nobility, he was also allowed to fight because of his unique abilities. Kiba is known for his unique strength and courage but he has self-concern and gentleness so the more his companions loved him as well as the more tender hearted Meka."

I could feel him staring at my face as if admiring the fantasy of the story.

"Akina is also one of the strongest warrior spirits but his will is tough and has inherent arrogance. He was often silent to one side that they did not know what his plans were."

"The time came when they were fully grown warriors. Over the days most chose and decided to have a new leader, Meka became King of the whole Cielo de Grande. He served his people wholeheartedly so he was not thrown into any more war with his friends. Kiba and Akina continued to fight for the safety of the land. But unknown to everyone that Meka has a serious illness which he got in the last war he was involved in. There was no cure for his illness and he soon became weak until he could no longer get up from his bed. At that point he talked to his two friends, he decided after a fierce war in other land and in return of Kiba and Akina to Cielo de Grande will make the selection of a new leader. Meka has no other family left but his two friends only that he fully trusts. So no one can benefit from the throne but one of them."

"When they both found out what King Meka was asking for, everything suddenly changed. Akina was alarmed, he knew that leadership was strong and in Kiba’s blood who is able to obey his orders so he was sure that this new leader of the Cielo de Grande would be selected. He could think of no other way but to harm his friend in the war. He finds time to kill Kiba."

"He intimidated some Wayang comrades and threatened their lives in exchange for helping him to kill Kiba. In their fear, they just obeyed its command. They planned to put Kiba in the middle of the battle where so many attacking opponents were squabbling and there his companions leave him. That’s what happened. Gradually, Kiba was abandoned by his comrades, and then a sudden attack at once the opponents with sharp weapons. A series of spears pierced his chest at the same time he was stabbed in the side of the sword until he vomited blood and lost his life."

"Akina succeeded in his dark plan. He convinced the whole town of Cielo de Grande that Kiba had died a noble heroism in conjunction with the victory of their army in the war. He will carry the victory in spite of the cover-ups he has shown to clean up his mess and become more convincing in the eyes of others. That news led to the untimely death of his friend King Meka. He had heart attack when he found out what happened to Kiba after the war."

"Akina took over as the new King of Cielo de Grande. Within a few weeks, his management system changed. He forbade anyone to worship Kilua even if he had destroyed its statues. He kills anyone caught violating the law. He also forbade warriors to go to Reino, the kingdom where the land of spirits is located.He told his visions that it would bring misfortune to their land. But little did they know, Akina is afraid to see Kiba’s spirit again and he was sure of their meeting again in the land of spirits that he will be put in the pit. He remains unsettled by his sin he has committed. But in spite of everything he took advantage of the opportunity to savor the power as King. He had different wives who came from the tribe, he took on brave warriors who protect his entire family."

"The feast day came, delicious food and wine-filled the dining table throughout the kingdom. Vaikan and Wayang made offerings to the golden statue of King Akina in gratitude for a bountiful harvest and eternal peace. Everyone worships their new god and has forgotten their true savior.

He just quietly listened to my storytelling. Perhaps his fears were gone as well.

"The whole people rejoiced that night, some are dancing, some are singing while other offering animals, fruits, and vegetables others eat and drink. Altogether celebrating the festivities in the kingdom hall as if they were praising the holiness of a false god."

"Their excitement was short-lived when suddenly thunder and lightning roared as if a storm was coming. Furiously every whip resounded in the four corners of the pillar of the kingdom. Suddenly smoke all around seemed to create fire the intense lightning. That smoke rises like the smoke of a furnace and the underground still trembles with a faint voice.

I could feel the sobs; I think he was a little nervous about what would happen next.

"The king stopped his action and the people were silent for a moment and watched for what else might happen outside the kingdom. About a few minutes later something suddenly lit up the hall, dazzling as if a majestic light wanted to blind their eyes. They can’t see anything so they just blocked their own palms from their sight.”

" Slowly moving and slowly approaching a bulk shining in extra light. It splendor is fading away to reveal its true appearance. At that point most were amazed at what they saw. They were dumbfounded and could not speak. Others stood up to greet the creature in front of them to bow and give praise, others knelt down, the rest wept. "

"What is that?" he asks.

"The great deity Kilua appeared in the form of a majestic and handsome werewolf. He was a huge werewolf with round eyes that looked like ice while observing the creatures in the palace hall. It was like a dream and incredibly their adored god had returned for too long. Maybe he didn’t like the way the wolves turned their backs on him only to be exchanged for one of their kind.”

"This is probably the day of judgment when the deity returns to punish all sinners and destroy the whole people. But that’s not how everything happened, Without hesitation Kilua raised her legs pointed out the golden statues and exploded one by one by fireballs called ‘santelmo’. He destroyed the other statues of King Akina which greatly alarmed the werewolves. There was a commotion and they no longer knew what to do with what they had witnessed, others hid under the table and others crowded into a corner where the king and his disciples were. But Kilua still didn’t budge, after he broke the stones he then blasted the food, expensive dishes and cutlery also made of gold, various offerings and decorations throughout the kingdom. Sulfur and dust filled the dining room table. The gold turned black and almost gray as well as other things that gave value to werewolves."

"After the tragic events took place, Kilua once again unleashed his power to show persecution for their sins."

"It is time to judge the Bathala! He turned his attention to King Akina as well as to his disciples. Everyone is encouraged to fear, not of his deeds but of punishment that he may judge the people. He willingly breathed on the king along with the soldiers and other werewolves. The wind was so strong that it was as if they were being driven away from the hall. The wind caused a huge blaze of fire not knowing where it came from, it consumed their bodies. It blazed until they cried out in excruciating pain. No one tried to help because of their fear and shame of their own sin. So the wolves watched how their deity shows true punishment. "

Kilua spoke in the language of his tribe interpreting:

"Go wild wolves and head to Cielo del Rio. You are free to worship anyone or anything you want. You are sinful, blasphemous and fearless. YOU AKINA, you are greedy, remember that there is something more powerful and the authority is higher than yours that you should not test his ability. Learn to praise his salvation throughout the universe as well as in giving you your unique strength to rule the kingdom of Cielo de Grande. From this day on you will be called Reberus THE REBEL WOLVES like your new color and appearance. Black, hard-hearted and ruthless." Kilua said.

"Kilua opens the gate of the kingdom to announce the expulsion of the new creatures."

"From the burning of their skins, the wolf’s skins turned black. They were transformed: grieved, grown up and almost unrecognizable. King Akina moaned so loudly that he could feel the pain in his heart in extreme remorse as well as so many of his companions who were darkened in extreme black. In the blink of an eye, he lost his fame, power and authority as king. He no longer has the means to be respected by his fellow wolves. Abundant tears dripped from their eyes for the first time the wolves cried, seemingly miserable creatures. They didn’t seem to be able to present anything then and Akina came out of the hall in great embarrassment with his disciples and running away to another place called ‘Cielo del Rio’ where the remote mountains are located surrounded by forests full of wild animals and no similar wolves can be found there."
