In the garden, by the pond, the lotus flowers were in bloom. The carp inside swam around them. While Old Mrs. Kingsley fed them, the carp swam over and grabbed food.

"When will she give birth...?" Old Mrs. Kingsley asked.

"In four months, I think. The due date i
