Chapter 13 Ethan Helped Her Change Pajamas

After quite a while, Jennifer lifted her head. Her eyes looked clear and firm, "Okay, Ethan, I agree!"

Ethan finally smiled. Only... he knew the bitterness in his heart.

Since when did he have to rely on such coercion and threats to get her?

This was something he used to despise the most; now it worked the best.

Jennifer, what should I do with you?

Let go? He could never do that!

Coercion? He was not happy with it!

But it was the only way.

"I have my request about marriage!" She added.

"I'm listening!" His breath brushed her ear.

"No wedding ceremony or disclosure of my identity. We'll just register." Jennifer said firmly.

His eyes immediately turned cold, "You mean secret marriage?"

"Yes, this is the premise of our marriage." Jennifer insisted firmly.

Neither of them knew how long their marriage would last.

So, it was better to keep it from the public from the beginning. If they divorced, they would be troubled by less gossip.

It was good for both of them!

Ethan suppressed his anger... and gritted his teeth, "Fine, as you wish!"

The corners of her lips curved up into a stunning smile. Ethan lowered his head and kissed her overbearingly.

The kiss drained her energy. If Ethan didn't support her, she might have slid down along the trunk.

Just now, she still had a reason to refuse. Now... she could only endure his crazy assault.

Because she had agreed to marry him.

This... was her obligation as a wife.

"Ethan, not here, let's go back!" Jennifer tugged at his clothes and sounded tender.

"Okay!" Ethan dropped a kiss on her forehead, "Hold me."

Jennifer obediently threw her arms around his neck. Ethan curled up his lips with satisfaction, carried her in his arms, and trotted back to the helicopter.

Those fireflies flickered in the distance and gradually dispersed.

At that moment, the only thing she could feel was his warm and safe embrace.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself on a comfortable, soft bed. The helicopter had reached its destination a long time ago.

Last night, she slept soundly... but could vaguely remember it when Ethan put her down.

It was the same bed she had slept on for 100 days and a witness of their love affairs.

New pajamas were on her body. Apparently... Ethan bathed her and helped her change her clothes.

The wedding dress was gone. She recalled what happened last night. It felt like a dream, but she couldn't ignore the fact that she had agreed to marry him.

Marriage?

Marrying Ethan?

Before the information could sink in, she lifted her hand and saw the ring that proved the reality.

Just then... she heard footsteps. Ethan walked over, lifted his wrist, and looked at his fine watch, "Now it's ten o'clock. You have one hour to get up and have breakfast. The trip will cost one hour, and we need to arrive at the Civil Affairs Bureau before noon."
