Chapter 2 Unscrupulous

After some time, the door was knocked on again, and in came the waitress before she could get the door.

Joanna felt strange but didn't think much about it as leaving the place was her priority.

"Miss, here are the clothes for you."

There were two large bags of various clothes. Joanna looked at her in confusion and then thanked her politely.

"My pleasure."

But when she checked the clothes, she thought it was her illusion.

When she picked up a pink tulle dress on top, the corner of her lips twitched. Even a mosquito net was thicker than this.

She tossed it away and picked up a black lace slip dress. Its hem could barely cover her hip, and the neckline was very low.

With a sullen face, Joanna poured all the clothes out of the bags.

She was struck dumb by the scene.

They were either gauze lace or bunny girl outfit...

What the hell was this?

As blood surged to her head, Joanna turned around and went to dial the landline phone.

Beep...

The phone didn't work, and she went to look for her cell phone.

She looked around but failed to find it. In her anger, she went to open the door in just a bathrobe.

She pulled at it but could not open it.

She pulled again, but the door didn't even budge.

What was going on?

Broken?

No! Could it be locked?

A horrible feeling rose in her!

Her heart was pounding and her face was turning pale.

Those obscene clothes crossed her mind, and her pale cheeks turned rosy. Blood was surging in her.

"Hello?"

"Open the door!"

"Anyone there? The room door is broken. I'm locked inside!"

...

Joanna shouted till her throat burned. In the end, she could barely utter any sound, but there was no response at all.

She hadn't expected the man should be so unscrupulous that he locked her in here!

It was getting dark. Joanna ran around the entire suite but found no sharp objects, nor did she figure out a way to call for help.

The city was slowly lit up. Collecting herself, Joanna rushed to the living room and picked up a kettle.

In her view, if she broke the window, people outside would be alarmed.

Before smashing it, Joanna examined the condition outside. There was a terrace for the air-conditioner, so even if the window shattered, no people down the building were supposed to be hit.

Bang!

Bang!

...

The kettle was out of shape, but there wasn't even a crack in the window.

Joanna cursed inwardly and ground her teeth.

Bitchy man!
