Chapter 13 Do You Think I Care About Reputation?

Brad frowned irritably at the doorway, then yelled at the back of the classroom, "Boss, our campus belle is coming to trouble you again. Shall we take this?"

Sarah pursed her lips, then said with a slight smile, "If I don't take it, I'm afraid I won't be able to get out of the classroom that easily today."

With that, Sarah looked towards the doorway and saw Karlee Hill standing there menacingly, glaring at the classroom.

It seemed that she simply wanted to bomb the classroom with her eyes.

Behind Karlee, there were a few of her sidekicks and...Amy.

The corners of Sarah's mouth curved up in mockery as she looked into Amy's eyes.

Amy followed her best friend to come over, certainly not to prevent the drama from happening.

Instead, she was here to support Karleen as a bestie and dial up the hostility between Karleen and Sarah without betraying any emotion.

This was Amy's usual trick.

Sarah stood up from her seat and walked unhurriedly to the front of the classroom, staring at Karlee.

The two girls were about the same height, so they were at eye level when Sarah stood before Karlee.

For some reason, Karlee became slightly nervous while looking into Sarah's emotionless eyes.

Perhaps it was because the girl in front of her was too good-looking, or maybe it was because the vibe she gave off was too powerful.

Or, both of the two reasons contributed to Karlee's nervousness.

Karlee pursed her lips, then opened her mouth to say, "You..."

Just then, Sarah interrupted her by asking, "What can I do for you?"

Sarah's tone of voice was calm, and the look in her eyes looking at Karlee was still emotionless. Still, her words shocked Karlee to the core.

Karlee stared at Sarah with wide eyes and ajar lips but could not finish a complete sentence.

"You, you are Sarah?"

Karlee could not believe at all that the gorgeous face before her actually belonged to Sarah.

Sarah then spoke softly, "If you have anything to say, say it."

"Spit it out," Brad echoed.

"Then, get out of here." This was Ellie's line.

Sarah looked back at Brad and Ellie and did not comment.

In comparison, Karlee's face was then pale and then blue, changing frequently.

She clenched her fists, her teeth chattering. She really did not want to show up at this classroom if she could help it.

It was an insult to her status to deal with these bad students.

And every time she came over, she would be humiliated by these stubborn students, either with their eyes or words.

What made them qualified to diss her?

After taking a deep breath, Karlee stared at Sarah with a gloomy expression, then said in a grave tone, "Sarah, I know you like Darren. But you should also know that Darren is now with me. I am his girlfriend. So, I hope that you will stay away from him in the future. That's the best arrangement for all of us. You'd better not do anything dirty like drugging Darren again to avoid ruining your reputation."

Karlee's words, while seemingly fair, were actually filled with mockery of Sarah.

If it had been any other thin-skinned girl standing in front of Karlee, she would have been incredibly ashamed of herself.

However, it was Sarah, the reborn Sarah, who was standing before Karlee.

Sarah stared at the other girl with a calm expression and said in an emotionless tone, "My reputation? Do you think I care about reputation?"
