Chapter 9 Who Are You Dissing?
Edgar deliberated for a moment, then said, "A fault confessed is half redressed. Since you're aware that you're wrong. I will forgive you this time. Just don't make it again."
Edgar's words were quite pertinent. It was rare for Sarah to take the initiative to admit her mistake, and she even brought Mike with her, so he had to give her another chance.
As Sarah was quite sincere, Edgar decided that there was no harm in forgiving her once more. Also, as all his bonus for this month had been deducted, there was nothing left for him to lose.
As for Sarah's words about studying hard and being a good student, Edgar took them as a joke and did not take them seriously at all.
He was acutely aware of what kind of students those of Class 15 were, and they would never study hard.
"Thank you, Mr. Green. I promise, it won't happen again," Sarah said solemnly.
Edgar replied with a nod, "So that's it. You may leave for the classroom."
"See you later, Mr. Green and Dad."
After saying goodbye to the two men, Sarah headed to the classroom with her backpack.
Ten minutes left before the class began, and students were heading to their respective classrooms. Sarah was in the middle of the crowd, strolling to her own classroom.
Several students glanced at Sarah curiously, whispering to each other.
"Hey, did you guys see that gal? I wonder which class she is from? Why didn't I realize there was such a pretty girl on campus before?"
"I think she's even better looking than the campus belle."
"Which class is she from? Let's follow her to check it out."
Some bold students followed Sarah. The girl noticed it but did not bother to care, heading straight in the direction of Class 15.
Before she reached the door of the classroom, she heard loud noises coming from inside.
Sarah was not surprised to hear the noises. After all, Class 15 had always been like this, and if one day it suddenly became quiet, that would be weird.
That day would eventually come, and Sarah knew it.
After taking a deep breath, Sarah stepped into the room. The moment she showed up in the doorway, all the noises subsided.
All the students inside turned to look at Sarah.
The atmosphere froze for two seconds, then all of a sudden, a loud whistle sounded followed by a male voice, "Pretty girl, who are you looking for?"
At the question, another boy replied, "Surely it's me. Have a look at the entire class. I'm clearly the most handsome." With that, he ran a hand through his hair, made a gesture he thought was handsome, then winked at Sarah, causing the class to clamor.
"Brad, don't make a fool of yourself. If the girl were looking for someone, she must be looking for Alan." A girl scoffed.
"Shut up, Ellie. It's none of your business." Brad Russell said with an unpleasant glare at Ellie Payne.
Turning back to Sarah, he put on that flippant expression again and said in a rascally tone of voice, "Our classroom has a rule that excellent students and dogs are not allowed in. Tell me, which category do you belong to?"
Sarah gave Brad a cold glance, saying, "Rotten wood cannot be carved." Then, she walked straight into the room.
Brad flew into a rage and slapped on his desk, yelling, "Who are you dissing? Is it necessary for you to..."
