Chapter 4 A Man Observing Everything

Sure enough, the two kids were siblings.

Given their height and size, they should be twins.

Kira tried to put the little girl down.

Henry ran over, held her thigh, and shouted, " Mommy, you're so amazing to bring back my sister!"

Kira was left speechless…

In her arms, the little girl also looked at her with her bright eyes and called her in a sweet voice, "Mommy."

Kira knew not what to say…

Were the two kids really abandoned by their family?

Ten minutes later.

She locked Henry and Betty in the bedroom before leading Darren to the living room.

She briefed Darren on how she picked up the two children and then instructed, "Go check out if there are any notices for missing people around."

"Master, in my opinion, we should call the police. This matter is too strange, and we'd better let the police handle it."

Kira's eyes were somewhat solemn.

At the thought of parting with the two kids, she felt upset and empty in her heart.

Then again, they were not her children after all.

She heaved a sigh, "Okay, call the police."

Only two blocks away from the apartment sat a hundred-acre manor.

In a video hall, the image of Kira's apartment was projected on a big screen.

Below the screen on a leather sofa sat Clyde Myers all by himself.

He folded his arms before his chest and watched the image quietly with his slanted deep eyes.

The woman the two children called mommy went to the living room. Henry and Betty were whispering something with each other in the bedroom.

The bug worked so well that even the conversation in the living room was picked up.

Clyde turned his head slightly sideways for a glance at a man standing at the door.

"Derick, is this the woman you selected?"

His voice was indifferent, low, and emotionless.

But Derick sensed his interest since he watched Clyde grow up.

If he wasn't interested in Kira, the little boy should have been brought back last night, not to mention letting his favorite little princess to be picked up.

He smiled secretly and walked up, "Sir, I was in poor health in the first half of the year and received treatment in her clinic. Miss Perry is not only good at medicine but also very kind. Her personal life is simple, and she doesn't have any bad habits. Besides, you saw it in the past two days. She is so kind even to lost children. Moreover, both Henry and Betty like her, why don't you…"

Clyde took a glance at him with his deep dark eyes.

Derick stroked his white beard and shut up his mouth in dejection.

Clyde turned back and looked at the big screen.

The bedroom door was opened, and the woman walked in. Holding both kids in her arms, she told them, "Don't worry, your parents will soon pick you up…"

Didn't that mean she had called the police?

Derick muttered anxiously, "Sir, Henry and Betty are so little that they need motherly love. You are no longer young and need a companion, otherwise, you would be lonely…"

Probably bored with his nagging, Clyde suddenly got up and strode out.

Derick immediately chased and pressed, "Sir, where are you going?"

"Picking up the kids."

Derick's eyes lit up, and he ran up excitedly, "I'll get the car ready."
