Chapter 3 Dare You Call Me Uncle Again?

Suddenly, the man stopped!

Dammit! It felt strange. What was wrong with this woman?

Her cheeks, which had been red, were as white as paper, her lips turned a little pale, and her body also became cool!

He removed himself from her body and held her in his arms at once. Softly, he patted her cheeks and said in an anxious voice, "Larissa Wilson!"

Did this woman faint because of him? But he hadn't even finished it yet!

...

After half an hour, a man in his early 20s walked into the suite with a black medicine cabinet in his hand.

After a brief diagnosis, he looked at the eye-catching redness on the sheet and gave a meaningful smile. "Mr. Lake, you were not so gentle, were you? How old is this girl? Seems she can't stand intense exercise."

"Johnny, just cut the crap!" Glen walked to the bedside and covered Larissa's body with a quilt. Although he had helped her dress well, he was reluctant to let any other men see her!

It was the first time for Johnny Evans, Glen's personal doctor and close friend, to see a woman on Glen's bed. Unavoidably, he was very curious and wanted to tease this cold-faced man.

Who was Glen Lake? He was the president of the EMC Group, a legend who increased the company's net worth to tens of billions of dollars within three years.

But even Johnny doubted that this man might have trouble in that aspect, or he wouldn't have been so abstinent!

However, tonight proved an eye-opener!

As Glen gazed at the pale face on the bed, his eyes became much gentler. "How is she?"

Johnny resumed seriousness on his face. "She sweats all over and has an unsteady heart rate. These are typical symptoms of hypoglycemia. I've injected glucose into her body, so she'll revive after a while. I've also drawn her blood, but I can tell you the result only after I go back to the hospital."

After hearing Johnny's explanation, Glen finally sighed with relief.

While packing the medicine cabinet, Johnny advised considerately, "Don't worry. She probably didn't eat anything before... doing excess exercises. Since she has sweat all over, you'd better help her take a bath and change clothes, or she may catch a cold."

Glen recovered coldness on his face and stared at Johnny – a silent order of eviction.

Lit up by a dim yellow light, the spacious room became quiet again.

As time flowed, he sat at the bedside, eyes steadily fixed on her face for a night.

...

The next morning, the faint sunlight illuminated the bed through the cream-colored curtain. Gradually, the bedroom became bright with vigor.

Larissa rubbed her eyes and lifted her heavy eyelids. Suddenly, she frowned deeply in confusion!

"You've forgotten?" Glen moved closer with an inconspicuous smile on his face. His gaze was fixed on her astonished and puzzled face.

She sat up instantly, those clear and impressive scenes flashing in her mind!

She lowered her head in great embarrassment and murmured, "No, No, Uncle Glen..."

Glen suddenly pulled a straight face and raised her chin. "Dare you call me uncle again?"
