Chapter 12 What Do You Think of When You Blush?
The car stopped at the gate of the Binger Valley.
"Thanks!" Vivian pushed open the door and ran away without looking back.
Zack turned back to Jonathan for instructions, "Mr. Luke, should I stop her?"
Jonathan stared at Vivian's running back, smiled, and shook his head, "No."
The guest room section.
"Ah..." Vivian packed up and lay on the big bed comfortably, sighing cozily, "Finally, it's subsided. I'm going to get some sleep and refresh my mind... to start the fight with Mr. Jeffery tomorrow!"
A strange smoky smell wafted through the air.
"What?" Vivian sniffed, "What's that smell?"
She looked up to see that there was a scented lamp on the nightstand. It was the very thing that gave off the smell.
"...it smells good!" Vivian didn't much care, tucking in the quilt and closing her eyes comfortably, "Room service at a star resort is differently good."
In the VIP section, Jonathan just settled down.
"Have you arranged for it?" Jonathan wiped his hair. There was exhaustion in his voice.
Zack nodded, "Yes. Miss Swift should be asleep by now."
"Good." Jonathan nodded in satisfaction and waved at him, "Get out."
"Yes."
In the air, the smell of smoky incense grew stronger, and Vivian slept with her blanket.
The door was opened and the slight sound of the latch didn't wake the girl who was dreaming. In the dim light, Jonathan's tall body slowly approached the edge of the bed. He gazed at the sleeping girl on the bed fondly and incredibly.
Immediately, he lifted the quilt and got on the bed and took the girl into his arms.
"Mmm." Vivian let out a sign and frowned but didn't wake up.
Jonathan looked down at the person in his arms and smiled softly with curled lips.
He had long suffered from insomnia, and the various aromas had long since failed to work on him. But it worked on this girl. He asked the room attendant to put some on her, and she slept so deeply. This girl was stubborn, but in the end, she was young. So how could she win him?
With a bow, he buried his head in the nape of Vivian's neck.
"..."
He took a deep breath. It was the scent that made him feel familiar and stable, so that any restlessness he felt could be instantly settled. He kissed her neck with his thin lips and Jonathan opened his mouth to slowly suck the skin on the side of her neck hardly...
The next day, early morning.
"Ah..."
Vivian opened her eyes and bounced off the bed. She blushed and her heart beat faster.
"Pervert Jonathan?"
She looked around frantically to make sure she was the only one in the room. And then she felt relaxed.
"It's a dream! How could I have slept with Pervert Jonathan again? What dream is so real? It's like a ghost on my bed, which scares me to death!"
As she muttered, she hopped out of bed to wash up. She would have a hard time today.
The Binger Valley was neither too big nor too small. Vivian surprisingly met Jonathan again at the elevator on the way to the dining room.
Jonathan was alone and Zack who looked like his 'shadow' wasn't accompanying him. What was even more remarkable was that he wasn't wearing a suit, and looked much younger in his casual clothes.
The elevator doors opened and people swarmed inside, squeezing Vivian in along with them.
"Ah..." Vivian didn't stand still and suddenly jumped forward.
Unfortunately, it was Jonathan who was standing in front of her. Jonathan didn't say anything, but he just changed direction and put his arms on either side of the elevator wall, separating the people and protecting Vivian from them.
"Ahem." Vivian coughed softly, feeling an itch on her throat.
She quietly muttered, "Isn't this man omnipotent? Why is he in the elevator with them? Please, get to the floor she wanted! She felt unusually embarrassed.
Jonathan was silent, looking down at her. Vivian still had a faint hickey on her neck from him last night. The little girl had smelled the incense and slept deeply, unaware of the hickeys. At the moment Jonathan looked at it, his heart itched.
The elevator stopped midway, causing another commotion. And Jonathan was squeezed a little closer to Vivian.
"You..." Vivian looked up and started to speak, but her lips met his jaw just in time. The unfamiliar touch of his skin made her blush all of a sudden. She hadn't spoken yet, feeling embarrassed to do so again.
Above, the deep male voice sounded like it was smiling, "So you like to take the initiative."
"What?" Vivian was startled and looked up sharply.
Jonathan lowered his eyes. His deep eyes glittered like two flames burning up.
"You..." Vivian looked at the crowded crowd and gritted her teeth to groan, "Don't talk nonsense!"
Jonathan raised his eyebrows and stopped talking. But they leaned closer. Vivian almost pressed against his chest.
"..." Vivian blushed. It was like that her face would bleed. His strong male scent almost overwhelmed her.
The incredibly real dream of last night came to her mind over and over again. Really... this person was so close. Even though through the shirt she seemed to be able to see his strong pectoral muscles. It felt so real to sleep on his long arms!
"..."
Vivian swallowed nervously. She felt like something was wrong with her.
Jonathan's scent was still pressing in, lingering around her, "What are you thinking about when you blushed?"
"..." Vivian seemed almost annoyed as if her mind was seen through, "Thinking of anything but not you!"
It was an instinctive reaction of the brain to cover the truth.
Jonathan curled his lips slightly, "It doesn't matter. I'll allow you to think about me."
"What?" Vivian was surprised. Why was this man so confident? He was that arrogant!
Luckily the phone rang in her pocket, which saved her. Vivian busily took it out and frowned subconsciously. She answered the phone, "Hello, Hudson."
"...Yes, I'm on a business trip. I'm fine..."
Vivian answered the phone lowering her head. Jonathan's expression immediately became serious. He slowly narrowed his eyes. This girl, last night, was incredibly well-behaved in his arms. What man was she talking to so intimately in front of him now?
He slammed into Vivian all of a sudden.
"Yah..." Vivian was caught off guard and let go of her phone, which fell to the floor and rolled to the corner, "My phone!"
Jonathan held up a hand to stop her. His tone was indifferent, "There are too many people here. We'll pick up the phone later."
"..." Vivian looked chagrined and looked up at him. She felt like he did it on purpose. But why? There was no reason.
There was a 'ding' and the elevator reached the floor she wanted to go to. Everyone went out and Jonathan let go of Vivian and turned to go out.
Only then did Vivian go to the corner to pick up her phone. The call had already been disconnected. She raised her hand to her head and banged it, complaining, "What should I do! Hudson's going to be pissed."
In front of her, Jonathan's spine stiffened and he squinted... He looked a little angry.
