Chapter 11 The Collision of Hormones
Was not Room 1605 Cathy's lounge? Why was President Wood there?
For fear that the man would take notice of her, Brenda hurried to push open the room nearest to her.
Luckily, that room was unlocked.
The woman swiftly locked it after getting inside.
She then leaned against the door, her heart pounding at an unusual speed.
It was not only because of the horror but also the problematic drink she had taken.
Her breathing was getting faster and faster, unquenchable waves of heat passing through her body.
Brenda shook her head, which was in a state of chaos, and walked over to the couch with an unsteady step.
Then, she threw herself into the soft couch.
Ouch!
There was another man on the couch.
Judging from the sturdy hot muscles she had touched, Brenda concluded that it was a man.
Just then, a broad palm-covered Brenda's mouth to prevent her from screaming.
Brenda felt strange at this moment.
On the one hand, the man's appearance frightened her.
On the other hand, sensing the man's palm, she actually felt slightly comfortable.
Somehow, Brenda rubbed her face against that palm.
Surprisingly, a kind of chemical reaction came into being due to the intimate interaction between the woman's smooth face and the man's burning palm.
In an instant, the collision of hormones produced countless sparks.
The man forcibly pushed Brenda away from him.
Bang! Click!
Brenda fell to the ground, and then, the light in the room was turned on.
Brenda immediately reached her hands out to cover her eyes from the light.
"You again."
A cold, mellow voice sounded.
Brenda moved her hands to look at the man, sighing inwardly over the arrangements of fate.
Terry was looking at the woman from a higher position, giving off a kingly proud vibe. His figure was tall and huge, making Brenda simply want to submit herself to him.
On the contrary, the look in the man's eyes was devoid of warmth.
"Mr. Lloyd? What are you doing here?" Brenda mumbled.
Terry raised his brows as if saying that it should be him to propose such a question.
Brenda initially wanted to tell the man that she was here to avoid a bad guy.
At the thought of the man's disgust against herself and President Wood, she decided to keep her mouth shut.
"Sorry to have bothered you. I'll get out of here right away."
Feeling embarrassed to stay in the same room with the man, Brenda intended to pretend that nothing had happened, wanting to get disappeared from the man's sight.
Unexpectedly, the woman, whose legs and arms had gone weak, actually made a mistake in a panic and nervousness.
She stepped onto the hem of her dress and lost her balance, lunging forward.
Seeing that she was about to hit the edge of the coffee table, she closed her eyes in horror.
Fortunately, what happened to her was not the pain in her imagination. Instead, the man's mature, cold aroma drifted into her nostrils.
Brenda swiftly opened her lids, tears welling up in her eye sockets. She stared at the man beneath her body as if she had seen a ghost or something.
Witnessing the horror in the woman's eyes, Terry suddenly regretted having saved her.
The distance between the woman and him was only a finger's breadth.
There were rays of brilliance in Brenda's watery eyes, and her lids were as pinkish as peach blossoms.
She looked extremely inviting and seductive.
Involuntarily, Terry felt tight in his lower abdomen.
Then, he said to the woman in a frosty voice, "What are you staring at?" However, there were apparent flames of desire in his eyes.
Due to the effects of the drink she had taken, there was only one thought in Brenda's messy mind.
His body was growing out of her control, and she felt somewhat weightless.
Out of compulsion, she lowered her head to kiss the man on his sexy slightly cold thin lips.
