Chapter 7 I'll Leave once I Drink the Water
So, when the last sip of wine disappeared from the glass, Aria threw down the glass and rushed to the door of the private room frantically.
Seeing her running away, the man stood up and grabbed her.
Just when Aria's hand touched the door, her hair was caught by the man, and at the same time, the door was pushed open from the outside.
"Help!" Regardless of whether the opponent was a friend or an enemy, Aria shouted out her maximum decibel desperately. At this moment, she was very sure that there was a problem with the wine! Because her head was already a little dizzy.
"Boss!"
"Mr. Shaw..."
Before Aria realized what had happened, everyone stood up, as if seeing the chief. They all bowed to the comer slightly and were even frightened a little bit.
Seeing this situation, Aria's heart was instantly shattered. It turned out that they were a team... She was done!
"Why are you here?" Morris hadn't looked away from Aria's face since he came in, because her "help" sound was too familiar and too sharp to ignore.
Especially, she was now being held by his man, acting as if she would rather die than surrender, making him even more dumbfounded. It's just that he didn't understand why she was here.
For the rest in the room, however, what Morris asked was like a blockbuster. Seeing his attitude towards that girl, everyone couldn't help but peek at each other, wondering if their boss knew this nightclub girl?
The man who had been grasping Aria loosened his hand immediately.
"Aria Rice, I'm talking to you!" Morris walked two steps forward. When he passed by Aria, he paused for a few seconds and glanced at her face, then he walked to the sofa in the private room and sat down.
Without the backlit environment, Aria's eyes immediately lit up. Although her head was a little dizzy, she could still clearly recognize the man's face.
"How could it be you?" Even though she didn't ask any good people to help, but... at least it wouldn't be a murderous demon, right?
However, she had saved his life and offered his food no matter what. It was not right or just if he just left her here, right? Unless his personality was really bad and hopeless to be saved!
Morris looked at the fool who asked him back, shook his head helplessly, then looked at the rest, "All of you, get out! I just need her here!"
"Mr. Shaw..." The man who was splashed looked at Morris embarrassedly, but he didn't dare to say anything. Although he didn't know the relationship between his boss and this girl... if his boss found out that he dared drug the wine, he would be in trouble.
His boss hated the most if any of them did such dirty tricks. If this was exposed, they would be damned. Moreover, he didn't even know this girl.
"What's the matter?" Morris frowned and looked at his subordinate. Only then did he notice that the man's face was full of red wine, and his clothes were almost the same. If he was correct, Aria did this to him. And because of that, they kept her here and didn't let her go.
"Uh... nothing!" The man took a step back in fear, "It's just... this woman is unidentified, so I'm afraid..."
"I know her! Just go!"
"Yes, sir!" The man hesitated and finally left the private room reluctantly. Before closing the door, he fixed his gaze on Aria for a moment, hoping that the medicine would automatically expire, otherwise there was nothing good waiting for him.
As the door was closed, the room instantly darkened. Aria unconsciously pulled the corners of her clothes, feeling somewhat hot. At this moment, she was dizzy and thirsty.
"Thank you for saving me. I'll... just take a sip of water and leave!" Aria stretched out her hand to grab the water glass on the table, but she was too dizzy to do that. She moved too hard and quick that her whole body rushed forward.
