Chapter 9- Family

Lots of people sitting at the big dining table in a royal palace. It was a full-fledged Deshmukh family .... Today was the day for everyone to have dinner together. The rule was that everyone should eat together at least once a month. A bright old man sitting on the main chair of the table. Everyone used to call him Abasaheb. Next to him was his wife Savitri Bai. Surrounded by three daughters-in-law of their three children ... and four grandchildren. Abasaheb was looking at the clock. Just then another middle-aged man and a young boy came and sat down.

'Won't Rishikesh come today ..?' As Abasaheb spoke in a calm voice, the people sitting there broke out in a sweat, leaving only his wife Savitribai. She was not afraid of him.

'Abasaheb ... Rishi ....' The young boy who had just arrived was stumbling.

"Rohit Rao, you keep quiet .... you don't deserve to be our descendant ... you can't speak well ... you can't do business ... you have gone to your father ..." Abasaheb spoke with a little contempt. Rohit lowered his head. He was the first son of Deshmukh's family. Deshmukh's first daughter-in-law had only two daughters. Everyone was very happy when Rohit became the second daughter-in-law after having a daughter, but he had no interest in business or any of Deshmukh's nobility. So Abasaheb used to pamper Rishi more and more..he was the only son of his youngest son..this will keep his lineage and his business but he still felt like that ......

Everybody used to gather for dinner on one day of every month .... it was today..but as usual Rishi was not today ... Abasaheb was a little disappointed ....

'Rohit Rao, when do you get married ...? You are now 28 years old ... will we get to see our partundry or not .. ' grandmother Savitribai asked to Rohit...Rohit was scared.

'Rohit Rao .... what does your grandmother asked? ... answer ..' Abasaheb needed once again ... but not a word came out of Rohit's mouth. His parents were upset to see him .....

"Well .. what are you talking about, now we are the ones looking after the girl .... get married, that's it ..." Savitri Bai. Rohit nodded. Savitri Baina felt satisfied. Just then a servant came.

'Abasaheb, Mr. Godse has come to see you ...' As the servant spoke, the expression on Abasaheb and savitri's face changed.

'Tell them to wait ... we will come ..' Abasaheb.

Then everyone was eating in peace. Immediately after the meal, Rohit called Rishi.

'Rishi, you didn't come today ...?' What man ....? _ 'Rohit.

'Rohit, I don't like the congested atmosphere there you know it very well....so I have taken a different house. . 'Rishi.

"Yes man..I don't like it..but I don't have daring like you ... Any ways ... Lata Aunty is waiting for you..at least come to meet her sometime ..." Rohit. Hearing his mother's name, Rishi sat quietly.

'Hum me .. I will come to see my mother one day..but now I have some work to do ....' said Rishi and hung up the phone. Rohit looked around and immediately dialed another number.

'Hello ...... Dude, my family is far behind for the wedding ...... see if anything is happening .....' Rohit said, running his hand through his hair in tension. There was a reply from the front.

"OK, let's meet tonight ..." Rohit hung up the phone and came out.

'Hello Abasaheb ..' A man in a suit fell at their feet and spoke politely.

'Sit down, what's the matter?' Abasaheb.

'I was talking about Rishikesh An Pallavi's marriage ..' Godse was speaking very politely.

"Ah, Godse, we told you last time ... Rishikesh doesn't want marraige..." Abasaheb spoke in a disappointed mind.

"Yes ...... I have to talk to you again ....actually another matter...." Godse said a little scared.

'Speak that ..' Abasaheb.

Godase, pallavi s fathar told abasaheb everything pallavi did... Abasaheb felt a little angry.

'These are the children of today..will do anything ... such marriages happen ..?' Abasaheb.

"I'm sorry but Pallavi is a bit childish. She has grown up without her mother since childhood, so it happened to her ... but nothing happened later ... I mean Rishikesh left ..." Mr. Godse.

"Yes, but she didn't give him the drug..something would have gone wrong ..." Abasaheb.

'Abasaheb, nothing bad has happened ..... by the grace of God..but I don't want to do anything like I have told Pallavi anymore ... you just call ... Rishikesh...'

'What do we want to do ..?: Abasaheb was asking with narrowed eyes.

"He..Rishikesh dropped all the shares of our company..if you talk to him, maybe he will forget all that and forgive Pallavi and will also leave the shares of our company ... ' godase spoke pleadingly.

Abasaheb was touching his temple and looking down. He knew that once Rishi got angry with someone, he would destroy him completely and leave him alone ...

"Hum me..we'll see .." Abasaheb said and Godse let out a sigh of relief. He fell down again and left.
