Chapter 5 Applying Medical Ointment for Angela
Sunshine penetrated the five-star hotel's presidential suite through windows and shone onto the bed, where Angela Cole was sleeping soundly under the blanket.
Samuel Fisher pulled open the bathroom door and walked out, wiping his short black hair. He had just taken a shower after a workout in the gym.
With the towel in his hand, he walked to the bed and, once again, was attracted by the sleeping beauty.
She was not the prettiest woman he had ever met but was the most attractive one in his eyes. Also, the girl made him want to cherish her, which was rare to the man.
The sunlight landing upon her face allowed him to see the faint blue on her eyes. He guessed the girl did not sleep well as he held her too aggressively last night.
However, that did not detract from her beauty at all. Samuel's gaze then fell on the inviting lips that he had tasted last night.
His eyes tightened up and suddenly noticed the red mark on the girl's porcelain-white face.
He did not see it last night. With his brows furrowed, he leaned toward Angela and found it was a somewhat faded slap mark on her face.
He thought of something and then narrowed his dark eyes.
He phoned the front desk of the hotel and asked the server to bring some external ointment for trauma to the room.
The wanted thing was soon delivered. Samuel squeezed the ointment onto his hand and gently applied it on the redded part of Angela's face.
Sensing something was moving on her face, Angela ducked her head under the blanket with a frown.
While rubbing the ointment, Samuel landed his eyes on the girl's lips, thought of their tender touch, and impulsively kissed her, his heart shivering and his pupils darkening.
The man's kissing gradually grew more violently and finally awoke Angela up from her dream.
On seeing the man's enlarged face, the girl screamed in shock.
Samuel let out a chuckle and bit her on the lips, shaking the ointment in his hand at her. "Your face is injured. I am rubbing this for you."
Angela then slightly crumpled her cheeks, and a faint smell of ointment drifted into her nostrils from the part where Jude Cole hit her last night.
She recalled details about last night at once and hurried to put her head under the blanket to check her own body quietly.
Noticing that though her blouse was broken, her body was not, the girl heaved a sigh of relief and lifted her eyes to look at the man secretively.
Samuel found the girl's actions amusing and quirked a smile. Angela blushed in embarrassment.
The girl's blushed face further deepened the man's smile.
"What did your father say to you?"
Samuel touched the intact side of Angela's cheeks, and the smooth touch made him feel comfortable.
Angela answered in a low voice, "My father told me to follow your instructions and stay with... you for a week."
"Don't you have to go to school?" While speaking, Samuel gently combed the girl's messy hair with his fingers.
Though the man did not touch her last night, Angela was still a little scared of him. She avoided his eyes, lowered her head, and replied, "I've just finished taking the college entrance examinations."
Speaking of which, Angela nursed a grievance. She was still a schoolgirl and should not have woken up in the bed together with a man
Even though they did not have sex...
While feeling wronged, she also felt relieved that she had not lost her virginity.
Samuel revealed a light smiled and asked, "How old are you?"
Angela gave the man a sidelong glance and answered in a soft voice, "Eighteen. I am a grown-up."
Samuel nodded with a hearty smile and felt somewhat relaxed to hear that she was now an adult. Otherwise, he would feel guilty to have spent one night with a juvenile in the same bed.
He stood up and said, "It's still early. Get some more sleep. Don't go anywhere. If you want something to eat, call room service, and a server will bring it here."
Angela nodded gently.
Samuel got dressed and then left the room.
Curling up under the blanket and looking the man's straight back until he disappeared from her sight, Angela unaccountably felt much less uneasy.
